It's matt brown shade...and long lasting
I even used as eye liner and it did not smudge the whole day

It's not dark brown, it's rust coloured
It sticks to the claim of being smudge-proof and long lasting, glides through easily and has a smooth finish, loving the application.However the colour is considerably lighter than portrayed, it's more of an orangish brown and might wash out on duskier skin tone as it did on mine.

This kajal is totally worthless. Waste of money. Orange in colour. Not at all brown. Too much disappointed with this product. Not at all pigmented.

The color is more copper than brown. I wanted a chocolate brown not a metallic copper. And it smudges very easily.
