No More Frozen Fingers Moving Snow And Ice
I have been a fan of Wells Lamont gloves for many years. A pair of their Sueded Leather Palm Work Gloves have been a mainstay in my toolbox forever, and a clean pair of their Brown Cotton Jersey Gardener Gloves have been an important part of my light bulb storage box. I never touch a new light bulb without having them on to prevent getting normal body oil, sweat or fingerprints on the outside of the light bulb and causing excessive heat buildup that leads to premature light bulb burn out. But as great as both of these gloves are at performing their specific tasks, neither do well when sidewalks are covered in slippery ice and snow and temperatures are below 20 degrees fahrenheit, making fingers ache from the intense cold and slight decrease in circulation from the weight and pressure of the snow shovel being gripped and carried. Those tough conditions require heavy duty, cold weather gloves . . . . they require Wells Lamont Sueded Leather Palm with Safety Cuff Heavy Duty Cold Weather Work Gloves insulated with 100 grams of 3M Thinsulate insulation material. The reinforced Sueded Leather finger tips and thumb provide the strength along with positive grip and feel of the tool or equipment being used and the Sueded Leather knuckle strap provides extra protection for the knuckles and back of the hand. The fleecy feeling 3M Thinsulate lining help to hold in the heat your hands need to stay flexible and maintain your grip, and at the same time, wicks away chilling moisture and sweat from your hands which also helps keep them warm as you are working. Before these gloves I ordered arrived, when I worked outside trying to shovel the snow and chip away the ice that fell here in multiple layers during our very bad winter storm that shut down all schools, government offices, and most businesses, after 2 hours working with my non-insulated gloves, my fingers began to lose their sense of touch. After another 2 hours of work to clear two narrow strips down my driveway that my vehicle's tires could drive on to get out of and back into my garage, when I came inside to warm up and rest, the fingers on both of my hands began to ache severely and felt like ice cubes when I touched my face. I was able to slowly restore blood circulation to my fingers and hands and relieve their pain. After I received my order for these gloves, I needed to remove the snow and ice the snow plow piled up in front of my driveway and clean out the tire tracks already opened up on the driveway. This process took me nearly 5 hoursto finish, but with these Wells Lamont Sueded Leather Palm with Safety Cuff Heavy Duty Cold Weather Work Gloves, my hands and fingers were as warm and flexible when I was finished as they were when I stepped out of my house to start working. What a wonderful difference these gloves made. They are now permanent fixtures in my Cold Weather Vehicle Emergency Gear, with one pair in the Extrication Gear box containing a 4-ton power pull come-along and two 20' Reese Tow Straps to attach to the ends of the come-along, and another pair in the duffel bag containing an extra, dry, change of clothes, hiking boots and heavy windproof, waterproof coat. When you live in an area that can get severe winter weather, you have to be prepared. With these gloves, I'm ready for anything "Old Man Winter" and his wife "Mother Nature" can throw at me . . . . . but I still hate "Global Warming".

Better than expected
I can't believe these are priced so low. I put these through hell and back and they're still like new. They are so warm inside, super durable, and worked perfectly for my archeological survey in freezing temperatures. I bought a large so I could wear glove liners under them but the soft and fluffy lining was enough warmth. I will say one con, they didn't get very clean in the wash. Photo is after two weeks of digging in the dirt and two washes so I can't expect much.

Comfortable, warm, and durable
These start a bit soft, but after they get wet, they become harder and I have been using mine for a while. I lost a pair, and my other pair finally got so greasy that I had to throw them away but I haven't broken a pair yet. The stitching hold up, leather is high quality and lining doesn't have hard seams that cause blisters

surprisingly good
im always suspicious of things like this that look "generic" and advertise amazing features like being insulated/warm in addition to being durable. usually the claims aren't true.but i took a chance on these, and...wow, they're actually really good. they really are warm and insulated. and the hide material is holding up really well. im very tough on gloves. as soon as i realized these are holding up well, i bought another pair.

Tough and warm
I use these for work, coupling and uncoupling trailers and all things related. These come in handy in the icy conditions of the northwest. I would buy these again although I doubt that’ll be any time soon. Good quality.

Need better description - “Pack of two”
“Pack of 2” does not mean two pairs. It means one left and one right hand glove. This is misleading. Wording should indicate “1 pair”.

The add for this reads a pack of 2..
It is not 2 pair. It is 1 left and 1 right hand glove. I thought it would be 2 pair.Add is very misleading. I can purchase the same pair of gloves in local hardware store for a lot less. Very unsatisfied with this purchase

Best gloves I’ve found in a while
These gloves are super comfy and warm. I do on site bulk liquid propane delivery, so one thing that kind of sucks is reeling in the 2.5” hose will wear them out where my hand holds to guide it as it’s on an automatic reel where you hold a button and it reels in. But that has nothing to do with the quality of glove as no matter how expensive glove you buy for that, they’re going to wear out and cause rips or holes. Something you need to consider when using gloves. Is it the quality of glove? Or could a more expensive pair hold up for far longer, which I can’t say they would. For $25 these gloves are far beyond what I expected for quality. One thing you also may want to consider is, when it gets muddy out from the snow melting onto just dirt on the construction sites, the material seeps in alot of that mud, and once it’s there you can dry them out but when you touch any snow and they get a little wet, they’re basically wet muddy gloves again. But I’ve just ordered my 3rd pair cause I like them so much. And after blowing through the first pair really fast I’ve made adjustments with how I do things to prevent ripping holes in them fast. 5/5 for price and quality.

was supposed to be a 2-pack, but only one pair came.
"pack of 2" is stretching the truth for a pair of gloves. I'm not sure where to find gloves sold as singles...so...of course the expectation is that this means 2 pairs of gloves. but only 1 pair came.

Lasted almost four years of regular use
Great gloves. Thumb and one finger on right hand are worn through after three and a half years of regular all-year use (yard work, processing and stacking wood, snow shoveling, etc.). Left is still in good shape. Warm and comfortable. Buying my next pair today.
