Excellent, comfortable base layer, 100% merino, at a great price
When I saw the price and the review of this Merino Protect shirt, I had to try it! I was pleasantly surprised by the comfort and quality of Merino Protect's shirts. I now have 3 of them. I'm a big fan of 100% merino wool - I commute by bicycle in NYC, and I prefer to wear 100% merino in all seasons. Most of the big names have taken to blending their merino with man-made fibers, which detracts from the quality and experince. This long-sleeve model does a great job - the material is really soft, it wicks sweat wonderfully, and works great in the cooler weather under my windbreaker. The length is great; it's a bit longer than a typical cotton T-shirt, which makes it perfect for cycling. I'm 5'8", 170lb, and the medium fits me perfectly - stays close to my skin for wicking, without being too snug.The only way I could think to improve the product would be to offer another model as well in a heavier fabric for those really cold days.

Great for cold weather base layer
I bought this to test ahead of trip to Alaska in late May, I live in Maine and temps do cold. I used this two weeks now for base layer and it fits 6'4" frame. Light weight, soft, long enough and keeps me warm.

Great fit, washes well.
The shirt fits well (fairly tapered), provides a good level of warmth while effectively wicking moisture. Stood up well to a number of washes (by hand).

Warm, lightweight, soft merino wool long sleeve shirt
I wanted a long sleeve wool t-shirt that wasn't too bulky. This is the ticket. The merino wool is warm and not scratchy.I wash this in cold water and hang to dry, and I haven't seen any shrinkage in about 10 washes. I would order my usual size.

Warm, light and just the right size
