Q: Can you run this through an inkjet printer?

I cut my oracle 651 in white down to size and place it in my regular feeder on my LaserJet printer. I select labels in the print dialog box. Custom stickers in minutes!!! I really don't see why you couldn't do the same in a inkjet printer. I just trace around a piece of paper and cut out so it's identical, but you could measure 8.5x11". I use this clear oracle 651 vinyl to lay onto the printed vinyl. The stickers have lasted on my water bottles without any problems getting hand washed multiple times. Trial and error with a few different processes..... and I'm happy to say this one works for me!

Yes. It is clear and transparent. I used it to cover personal photo for a keychain. No problem with it

Q: Has anyone used it on mugs or tumblers? Can you see the square outline of it on say a stainless steel or matte finish? Wanting to put over a design

I have never used on a mug or tumbler. But I would assume that you can see the edges
