Cat Footwear Men's Wheelbase Steel Toe Work Boot

Good quality work boot. I waited a few weeks to submit my review. I'm writing for my husband who doesn't do social media or reviews. He works in a paint factory, with lots of chemicals, major spills happen, and he works with lots of large and dangerous equipment. He has to have steel toe boots, likes shorter boots, but due to working with spills (frequently) of liquid and water to clean them up, needed non-lace up boots as that's an entry point for liquids. It's what he had been wearing previously. He also needed non-slip. These hit all the marks for him. He's super happy with them. They have been safe (non slip, have a good sole & tread), have the steel toe so he feels protected, have been easy slip on and off, are closed so have held up to the spills for him, stay dry (super important), and after going on three weeks of rough wear, are still solid. They look awful (this pic is after only two days of wear and a cpl spills already), but they are comfy and doing their job; keeping him safe and dry. He did need to put insoles in them, which he does anyway, and it did make them a little tighter for him on the top part of his foot, but the boots stretched and it all became comfortable after about a week of wear he said. He said a half size up with the insoles would have been too large had he gone up a size so for him, he says they are true to size.He typically goes through one or two pairs of boots per yr for work due how hard he is on them and the environment he is in. As long as these hold up for 6 months or so, then they will definitely be worth it and we will be back for another pair. I hope this review helps others when they are looking.

Waited a little while before posting this review! Wanted to see if the bout would last. I got them for my husband for his construction job. And amazingly 6months later the boot is still good. They have a comfy fit and they look nice too. Will get another pair once my husband needs new ones! So far they are still good.

These are hands down the most comfortable boot I've worn in a long time. Little snug until they break in a little but worth it after that. Bought my first pair at academy and continue to buy these exact same ones once they wear out. At work I am very rough on my shoes and these seem to last a long time without tearing themselves apart like others.

So far I love them, very comfortable, I was skeptical about not having laces but its very convenient to slip them on and off. Review said they ran a little tight so I got a size up from what I normally get, I think I should've just got my size but still pretty good. My job is very rough on boots and never had a pair last longer than 3 or 4 months so we'll see how these hold up but I'm pretty optimistic so far.

Have had these boots since October ‘21. Very little break in period. They are comfortable and supportive, I added additional waterproofing spray as soon as I got them due to my work. They seem to be holding up well and when they wear out I will probably order the exact same ones again.
