Great shoes for chasing tiny humans! 😊
***For whatever reason my photos are not posting to Amazon but I am working on resolving this issue!I have never owned BOBS or TOMS in my life, but I thought both shoes were adorable and their missions noble, so I decided to buy both shoes and do a side by side comparison. (I also included side by side photos of the unboxing of each shoe in the hopes that it might be helpful to someone else!)First up, BOBS by Sketchers (they were on sale for $28.88 marked down from $42.00 when purchased). They are made out of a canvas fabric and have rubber sole. They slide on easily and comfortably because of the stretchy goring wedge at the top of the shoe. The footbed is made out of memory foam and they have a shock absorbing low profile midsole which is great for those who find themselves on their feet longer. In addition they have an "arch pillow" that provides exceptional support. They also come in a beautiful assortment of colors, both vibrant, natural and pastel which I love! Even the interior of these shoes is adorable (for the comparison I opted for black which have the cutest black and grey cheetah pattern!). When I first tried them on I noticed they were definitely tight and the top of the shoe did feel really stiff but I'm sure they will loosen up once they form to my feet and break in more. The bonus of buying BOBS is that they are currently running a promotion in which 25¢ from each purchase will be donated to the Petco Foundation to help save the lives of dogs and cats in America’s shelters. I am extremely pleased with these shoes so far!Next up, TOMS (they were $34.76 when purchased). They are completely authentic TOMS when purchased from the TOMS retailer (as opposed to a third party company) so no need to worry. They are made out of textile (cloth and woven fabrics) and have a synthetic sole. They also have a canvas top with an elastic bit for an easy slip on design and comfortable fit. The shoes are very lightweight and come in an awesome assortment of vibrant colors with adorable interior fabric prints (although I personally chose black again which had a very cute cream and black wild life pattern on the inside). The insole is made out of suede and feels very comfortable but not quite as supportive. An additionally bonus is that with every pair of TOMS purchased, an additional pair is donated to a child in need which is super rad. I do like these shoes but part of me feels like you are paying for the name. But they are still a great price and when you think of the good they are doing by donating a second pair of shoes it's totally worth it.Although I really do like and recommend both shoes, I'd have to say that I personally like the BOBS more. In spite of the fact that both shoes look nearly identical, I do tend to side with the all black look that the BOBS have (although I recently found out that you can purchase that style in TOMS too! 😊). I also enjoy the fact that you have the option of choosing a wide fit (which I usually wear) in BOBS while TOMS unfortunately does not offer a wide option, they simply recommend buying a size up if you have wider feet. In addition, I really liked the memory foam footbed and the "arch pillow" in the BOBS because I'm on my feet all day chasing miniature humans and if I don't have proper support, my knees and hips will yell at me 😂. I still recommend both products but again, I did like personally liked the BOBS more.

Super comfy & cute!
I have wide feet and usually don’t buy shoes without trying them on first, but I’ve been wanting a pair of these for a while. I got charcoal color and absolutely love them! At first, they were a little tight to put on. After wearing them a couple of hours, they seemed to loosen up a tad and fit my feet perfectly. The sole of these shoes are extremely comfortable and seem more supportive than other flats I’ve owned. The only downfall, is that wide isn’t offered in all prints/colors!100% would recommend!

Not wide false advertising
I have owned A pair of BOBS for 4 years. When I saw these claiming to be WIDE, I become super excited as I have wide feet. My 4 year old BOBS are not wide. The shoes arrived today, when I put them on I quickly realized they were not WIDE as advertised. I pulled my old pair out and noticed they were smaller in width. Wide feet Buyer beware these are not wide.

best flats ive ever owned hands down
i was super surprised by these shoes. i wear an 8.5 wide. i was worried after reading that people had issues with these being too narrow. i didnt know the whole background about the bobs being affiliated with animal shelters so i loved that they donate money for every pair sold and the cute little key chain that came in the box was a nice little bonus. im used to buying cheapy flats wear the insole is there for decoration and is ruined after 2 wears or even dare i say toms that were flat (haha) and hard and uncomfortable to wear all day. i had no clue that the entire insole of these were memory foam and crazy comfy. i wore these to work three days in a row. they took no time to break in they fit perfect right out of the box. Im going to buy another pair in white. i sprayed water proofer on them to help keep them clean. best flats ive ever owned hands down.

Falling apart after 1 month!
I bought my 3rd pair of these shoes 1 month ago. Previously I have bought them at the Sketcher's outlet by my house and they have lasted about a year each before needing replacing. This last pair I purchased from Amazon and exactly one month after purchase I just noticed that there the fabric is separating from the back of the heel. Of course the return window closed yesterday. The shoes and packaging looked like the real deal but perhaps the great price should have warned me that these are not.

I ordered a 9. 5 B (M). They ...
I ordered a 9.5 B (M). They say a picture is worth a thousand words...Update: I reordered and received 2 9.5s, but they were unfortunately too small. Smaller than the previous 9.5s I’ve tried on. They too will have to go back. Unfortunately, I think it’s possible, due to the nature of the style and the tucked toe, it allows for more irregularities than your normal shoe. Perhaps that’s why so many different reviews saying size up, size down, and true to size.

Comfortable
I absolutely love these shoes. I originally got a tan pair from a different store thinking they were Tom's. (Similar label style and colors) My obtuse self thought they were Tom's for over a month until I went to order this pair in the dark blue and finally realized they are called Bob's. After actually trying on a true pair of Tom's, I quickly came to the conclusion that my pathetic paws preferred the Bob's brand. I know Tom's are built to last but they were just too hard on my feet, and that is comming from someone who prefers to be barefoot. After a full month of almost daily use the tan pair still look new except for the random blue stain I got on one of them so I think they are at the very least decent quality. I am a teacher and rarely get to sit during the day and usually have sore feet at the end of the day, but not in these shoes! My goal is to have like 5 different colors of these Bob's for work and because they are so reasonably priced that is going to be a reality very quickly. If these shoes last about a year it will totally be worth the price for the level of comfort I get from them. I would bite the bullet and try these for sure.

Disappointed in the lasting quality
I have always loved skechers and swear by them as a brand so when I saw these for less than a pair of Toms I was intrigued! Ordered them in April 2019 to be a go to comfy pair of pumps for the summer and autumn and they are divine! So comfy, no breaking in required and they were a blessing to my feet for my walks to and from work. At first glance the quality was exactly what I expected from Skechers. However, its 5months later and the sole on the left shoe has split across the ball of the foot, the material on the right heel has split apart from the sole and alas I can't wear them anymore. Now, fair enough I wore them for my walking commute so we're looking at 1.5hrs a day plus a bit of run around on a weekend but for them to have fallen apart in under 5months, I feel a bit cheated when my skechers go walks lasted me well over 2 years and they certainly got work more often! I'd be tempted to but the again if they dipped closer to the £20 mark but this experience has made me wary and slightly sad.

Be careful when you walk on a pavement
I love this pair of shoes and I bought them twice. I use them for a short walk. Just be careful if you walk on pavements in Europe... these shoes don't have enough cushions to protect your feet from pavements, and you'll soon have a pain in your feet.
