It worked.
The product worked. It was not upside down like people claimed. I ordered a more expensive one and that one was defective. The problem with these cables is that you never know which one they’re gonna send you. Certainly not the one in the picture . This cable does allow rotation of the fastener inside your car. The other one J ordered didn’t and if I tried to force it it would break like the old cable I’m trying to replace in the first place. Make sure to inspect the logo is correct position and the fastener is to the left before you feed it through. If it isn’t, and you can’t turn it then is defective. Always gave a second cable on hand otherwise if it’s defective. You’ll be crying in the rain. 😃 but yes this one worked.

Good quality
Takes some time and patience to install. The original holes did not match up to new cables ones. Had to do a little bit of drilling on plastic to match up holes. The cable it self is good. I would recommend buys some new cables holder clips. When removing old cable, i hade to break some of the clips holding it in place.

Broke within first month
Very common issue with these is the plastic is too cheap and doesn’t hold up to the force required to open the hood. This replacement did NOT fix the problem. Broke very quickly. Don’t even waste your money.

Saved me $75 at the auto shop.
You need more information then that? OH, I think the hood icon on the handle may be upside down BUT that may have been human error when we installed it.

Sa fait le travail mais le symbol a l’envers sur la poignée du câble qualité ordinaire mais fonctionnel les trous n’ont pas le même espacement que l’original j’ai du percer la pièce pour pouvoir l’installer
