Francisco
I had asked if this was good for cooking and 'Francisco' answered saying he used it for planter boxes.... I thought I'd mention that the description says... Pure Raw Linseed Oil vs. Boiled Linseed Oil Similarities Both are fantastic options for: Protecting and sealing unfinished wood Reviving faded, weathered wood Sealing wood from water marks and nicks Extends and fortifies oil-based paints & stains to offer a beautiful, protective gloss finish Differences Pure Raw Linseed Oil is in it's purest form so it takes a long time to dry, 2-4 hours. Boiled Linseed Oil has been formulated to dry faster, 12-18 hours. It's not for use on projects that will be food related such as vegetable gardens, butcher block countertops & cutting boards. With both Pure Raw and Boiled Linseed Oil: read all precautions, ventilate your work area well, and dispose of application rags immediately after each use in a sealed water-filled metal container to prevent spontaneous combustion & fire. So hopefully Francisco will see this.

Works Great I think!
The linseed oil was required to keep my new fence in lasting condition. I bought 5 gallons and needed an extra gallon to complete the project. I used an electric sprayer to apply, and it did the job well. I started with a brush, but with the hard to reach places and overall time to apply, I settled with a cheap sprayer. My fence looks amazing and the oil brought out the richer clearer look. Thank You!! I just hope it looks good before the next application in 4 years.
