I was nervous when the saber first arrived and didn't have any charge at all. I charged it for an hour (WARNING: the voice that announces when charging starts or stops, and when the saber turns on and off is LOUD and quite startling if you're not expecting it!!) and it held a charge for all of about 10 minutes. I figured I didn't get it charged all the way so I let it go until the voice yelled, "charging complete" but it still only lasted 5-10 minutes. I contacted the seller and got a message back within about a day. They recommended REMOVING THE BATTERY and then putting it back in. I left the battery out for a minute or two and then replaced it. My guess is that this effectively reboots the circuit board because it works great now! I have used it for 10-15 minutes each day over the past week to test it out with no issues.I got the saber for my Jedi Halloween costume because it was so reasonably priced. The saber was a huge hit in my household - so much so that I had to get another one for my husband, who decided to dress up as Vader.The only complaint I have is that there are no assembly instructions for the blade or the included hilt-wrap. It's fairly obvious what to do to attach the blade -but- there are a lot of extra screws (maybe to connect two?) and in two different lengths! You want to use the shorter ones to connect the blade as the longer ones stick out a little. Also, after the second saber arrived, I realized that mine only had a quick-start guide with info on how to turn it on and change the sounds/colors. His had no quick-start guide but DID have a user manual that mentions the app (still no assembly instructions). The hilt-wrap looks like it has double-sided tape at both ends so we can probably figure that out easily enough.Overall, it seems to be a well-made saber with a pretty tough blade. It has great impact sound and light effects so duels look really realistic. It's a lot of fun.

After having spent over $200 apiece for two turned aluminum saber hilts with no sound and only one blade color, I decided to buy a cheaper saber to see if I could transfer the light/sound board to my more expensive hilt... SO glad I did! While I haven't transferred it, I HAVE enjoyed this saber tremendously! Decent, if unimaginative design, solid lightweight construction, nicely bright blade light, and SO sensitive! Barely move the hilt, and the sound reacts, easy color change, and the APP! SO nice to be able to change the settings from an app!And that the wrap is actually included is terrific! (Make sure to check the box thoroughly so you don't throw it away)All around great Saber for the money, I WILL be buying more in the future!

Bought this for a gift for my husband. Yes, he's one of the grand pooh-bas of the nerds. He's MY nerd. He loves it. Ended up deciding his Halloween costume last fall. It's really pretty cool and does everything as described. Easy to figure out and he loves it.

The app that goes with it is finicky. Works but sometimes is eh. The saber itself is cool and works well and the controls are easy to learn when you get the hang of it.

I was searching for a Budget Lightsaber with Smooth Swing and found that most known companies sell them for a high price. I ended up looking through Amazon and found this Saber. I saw the price and went with it. It came within a couple days. After putting it to it's uses, I found that this is an Amazing Lightsaber. Smooth Swing works very well. It has 12 pre-installed Sound Fonts, High-Low-Mute Sound Settings, Blaster Deflect, Flash On Clash, and a wide selection of blade colors. The USB type C charging port makes it easy for charging the saber. The only gripe that I have with this Saber is the size of the Blade. The 36 inch Blade is too long for me to swing around without hitting the ground. I'm 5'6 and the length of the Blade makes it like I'm swinging a Long Sword. If it came with a 30 inch Blade, I would be more comfortable swinging it around with ease. Other than that, I find that this is the Best Budget Smooth Swing Lightsaber out there for under $100. Must get for those who are just getting into Lightsabers.

I bought this Light Saber as a Christmas gift for my dad who happens to be a huge star wars fan. I thought it was a good buy for an intro Light Saber. Cost wise, it wasn't too much on the cheap end and not too much on the high side either and so i ordered it.When the order arrived I opened up the box to test it out and when I pressed the button nothing happened. I figured it needed to be charged and so I connected the charging cord that came with the saber and I left it to charge.After about an hour or two I went to re-test the saber. Pressing the button this time gave a "low battery" audio. Not thinking anything of it, i left it overnight to charge and re-checked it the next day. It still gave the "low battery" audio. I decided to make contact with the seller, but was unable to. Instead I got amazon help and i made them aware of the issue. They offered to replace the saber with a new one and i'd have to return the old. but i figured being just a battery issue, it was too much hassle and opted for them to just replace the battery. Unfortunately they couldn't replace the battery alone and they sent me a link to contact the seller. I tried once more, but again was unable to make contact with the seller.At this point I decided to buy a new battery for the saber and after hours of research I purchased one as well as an external charger.While I awaited for that shipment to arrive, the seller made contact with me. After a lot of back and forth solutions, I was offered a full refund from the seller. I waited for the new battery to arrive and then when it came I tested it on the saber and it didn't work. I requested the refund at this time, but the seller asked that i send a video showing my issue. I complied and was offered a full refund for the saber.In all, I will rate my experience with the seller as a good one. as they were helpful once they made contact. the same cant be said for the light saber. I decided to purchase from a professional saber maker, but its gonna cost me a lot more.
