Works very well as a chick brooder!
Why did you pick this product vs others?:I am using this as a chick brooder. This one in particular was a reasonable price and had more than enough room for our 5 chicks. I appreciate the net sides that provide awesome ventilation and the completely zippered attached nylon bottom. There are two openings 1 on each top end and two side openings along the same side at each end of the one side. The base can be zipped off and pushed aside so that you can use the included pegs to attach the "chick brooder, playpen" into the ground to allow them outside on the lawn time, while still having the protection of the netting. This is however by no means predator - proof as this is a pop up net design so anything jumping on it will squish it down. But it does give the chicks relatively safe outdoor time with proper supervision. It also allows for older chickens an easy way to view their new future coop mates while keeping the two flocks apart.

Great chick brooder
I've purchased two of these now - they work great as a chick brooder. Holds in the bedding, gives the chicks lots of room to run around. The side zip windows make it easy to get the chicks out, and the top zip windows are convenient for changing their food and water without giving them an opportunity to escape. I've had one of them for two years, and it's held up great - no issues with zippers breaking or mesh ripping. Bought a second one this year since we had a larger number of chicks. One worked great for 20 chicks when they were little, and I divided them into two groups of ten in two of these when they reached about 4 weeks of age. Put the chicks outside at 6.5 weeks. Easy to rinse off with a hose to clean before storing.

Good for Quail
I have quail for eggs and one day (hopefully never) meat. I let them go out in the yard in this pen for a few hours and they seem to be happy in the grass rather than their cages. The corners need to be held down a little extra with stones because the quail will be able to sneak out of the pen but it was the cheapest chicken tractor I could find. The quail give it 5 stars but I have to say 4 stars because of the stones to reinforce the escape prevention. Happy to have it for them though. it is easy to set up and sturdy when done.

Just what I needed
Exactly what I needed to contain 4 kittens in one area, but also giving them space to play. My only issue is if one of my other cats jumps on it, it collapses, but pops right back into shape once they get off. I knew that would be a problem, but this is still the best and cheapest options until the kittens are big enough to have free reign of the house. I just put a large dog crate in one side of it to stop that. I will say it holds up very well to the kittens climbing on it though. They haven't ripped or snagged it with their claws.

Baby Chicks!
This has been the best find for raising baby chicks! It's the perfect size for keeping them safe and contained while giving them enough space to move around. The mesh sides provide great airflow and visibility, so I can keep an eye on them at all times. What I really love is how easy it is to clean and move, lightweight yet sturdy, and it folds up quickly for storage or transport. It’s also super easy to wipe down or rinse out, which is a huge plus when dealing with young animals.Whether you’re raising chicks, small bunnies, or even just need a secure area for tiny pets, this playpen is a fantastic option. Highly recommend!

Great size!
Got this for my boyfriend, the chickens ended up putting a hole inside of it after a few weeks. Once the chickens moved out, two ducks went in and they ended up figuring out how to open it😭. I wouldn’t give it a bad review though because it definitely did the job for the time it was needed, just thought it was last longer.

Baby chick brooder
My 3-week old baby chicks were getting too crowded in their brooder (steel tank) but were still too small for our large chicken shed so I needed something bigger for a couple weeks. I didn't want to spend a lot of money or time building something from scratch. This is perfect - they have lots of room to move around.

Spacious and easy to use.
I used this for my chicks, and it was great in terms of the space it provided. They were able to spend quite a few weeks in here comfortably. I would bring it outside and remove the bottom, allowing them to have time in the grass. This was a great feature. However, while this met my needs to get these chicks coup-ready, I could maybe use it one more time if I get another group of chicks. The mesh started to get holes in it and the material around the zipper is starting the fray. It is a great product, but it's not built for longevity and multiple uses.
