Great trimmer, especially for travelling
I've had this trimmer about 3 months now, and it is an excellent small trimmer, especially good for travelling. It does the trimming job fine, it is very small, resonably quiet. Best of all it charges with USB-C, though with 2-3 minutes of trimming every other day, I only need to charge it up every month or six weeks.I have two minor complaints, or perhaps suggestions for improvement since it works exactly as advertised.1) For my purposes, I would love the blade gap to be ajustable, or have the option of, say a 1/2 mm or 1 mm gap blade. The trimmer is advertized as zero gap, and it is. I nicked myself the first day I used it but since then have learnt how to use it to keep a close stubble trimmed. But I would still prefer a slighly non-zero gap.2) The trimmer comes with a wire loop so you can hang it up. That might work in a saloon, but I don't have hooks in my bathroom other that for towels, and certainly when travelling there are almost never small hooks near the sink/mirror. I'd much prefer to stand the trimmer on its end on a shelf, but I can't do that either because the back end of the trimmer (where the USB port is) is sloped. If you try to stand the trimmer there it would just fall over. Again, this is a very minor thing since most of the time the trimmer is in my travel washbag. But it would be nice sometimes to just stand it on end next to the toothbrush, especially in some tiny hotel bathroom. Could the next version of this have a stright back end? Some other reviewers here have said that as a travel trimmer it really could do with a more secure swich to keep it "off" when travelling. That would be nice, but I have not yet experiened it accidentlly being on when packed. So, all in all, an excellent trimmer. Certainly for me as a traveller, this is a huge step up from my previous Philips Norelco which did fine for the trimming job, but was three times the size, and required its own charging cradle and transformer brick.

My new secret weapon
Going on my honeymoon to Paris and Dubai for three weeks. My Babyliss outliner and Gold FX hair cutting machines are extremely heavy and I’m only traveling out of a backpack. The Ritter is EXTREMELY tiny and lightweight compared to a traditional hair cutting machine. I can confirm it is a Usb-C. Glows red when charging and blue when fully charged. Has two speeds. Green for first speed and blue for the second speed. It is zero gapped so it is ideal for skin fades in beard and hair lineups. It does have 3 attachments. 1mm 3mm and 6mm. The battery life is amazing. This cutting system will allow me to keep my fade crisp and my beard shaped up for my date nights, dinners, etc. My one gripe is the lack of attachments. It should have a storage guard to protect the blade and a .5mm , 1.5mm and 2mm attachment. If they package those attachments this machine would be able to practically do it all. Make no mistake about it. This is a true professional grade barbers tool. With real strength , precision, and power.

Close shave, reliable.
Love this trimmer. It's wide enough and cuts close enough for most occasions. Good for pre-trimming beard prior to razor. Good enough for social gatherings. Great for sideburn length. Even for self-trimming around ears in a pinch. USB-c is awesome.A little heavy for optimal travel, but do travel with it for short-trips. Use it at home a lot.

Bad Design for travel product
I was very excited when I got this, everything seemed perfect. However, there is one big problem and why I returned it. For a travel product it does not have any way to lock out the device. So it can potentially turn on while in my bag.

Good trimmer, broken comb
It's a good trimmer, but the comb attachment broke, and I can't figure out how to get a replacement.

Tiny and Light - and USB-C !!!
I was actually surprised by this little clipper. First, you need to realize this thing is small...really small. the blade is 1.6" wide, and when I opened the box, I thought there was no way this would work for shaving my head. I had gotten lazy and hadn't shaved (beard or head) for about a month, and this little clipper surprisingly had no problem clearing out that growth. I've also got a Wahl 8110, and while this little clipper took a few more passes than the 8110 would have, this little clipper is a lot easier to handle since it's so much smaller and lighter, and you don't have a cord getting in the way. It cuts fairly short, but still leaves your scalp a little bit fuzzy, so you won't get a true 'bald' cut. But hey, my 8110 (a dedicated balding clipper) also leaves my head just a little bit fuzzy, and I always finish by shaving my head with a gillette mach 3 for that skin smooth shave, so this one won't be any different in that regards. That said, these little clippers would make an excellent travel clipper. And another surprise. The description for these clippers just lists that it is USB rechargeable, and includes a USB cable. The main photo which shows all of the included accessories shows what appears to be a micro USB cable. Imagine my surprise when I took the clippers out of the box and went to charge it, and discovered that this little clipper has a USB-C charging port! I thought I was having to settle for charging with a micro-usb cable when I ordered it, but Yippee! USB-C!

No way a "ZERO CUT" trimmer
I purchased this for three reasons. First because of its size for traveling which is great. Second for the battery life. I gave it a full charge and then turned it on to see how long it would run before slowing g down and it only lasted for an hour and a half, not the four hours they advertise. Now the third and most important reason for me which was to shave my head and face. I had about two days growth because I wanted to see if the product was truly a zero cut trimmer and guess what? It was not even close to that. After going over one area of my head a dozen times not only did I feel the hair still there but you could even see it. This was a total waste of money for me. I gave it to my wife to see if she could possibly use it since she cuts our grandkids hair. I am so disappointed with this product.
