These are seriously great value notebooks! I bought similar ones with 1/3 of the pages for not a lot less. Just one annoying thing.... On the front cover in the bottom right corner - there is a pointless logo with trees and birds and the slogan "A SIMPLE LIFE CAN CHANGE OUR LIVES". It's ruined the front cover which I usually adorn with my own writing and pictures. I'll probably flip the book over and make the back cover the front cover. This means the logo is on the back cover upside down, but I can live with that. Note to manufacturer - if you really have to put the logo on...put it on the back cover instead.You are getting a lot of pages and also each notebook has a plastic sleeve that protects the front and back covers and the spine. (my other ones did not have this). You can remove this sleeve if you want to.1 star knocked off for the annoying logo - otherwise this is a 5 star product.

A very nice package of notebooks.When you open up this product you notice straight away that these notebooks have all been nicely individually wrapped and have had protection wrapping put around the front and back of each book.The book itself is light and soft to the touch, the pages are thin but strong, so the quality of writing is easier and you also have more pages than the average notebook.The notebooks come in a pack of three which is excellent considering the price and how much product you get. The only gripe is that the notebooks itself are being kept together by these 15 big rings which make it difficult to keep as compact as possible, along with the left hand side of the note book constantly being raised due to the size of the rings. On the other hand overall a great product for the price and a big positive that these come in packs of three.

I do a lot of writing and I get frustrated when I can't find a decent notebook at a decent price. I have several of these notebooks and each is used for different subjects. One contains general health info, medications, foods, etc. Another keeps recipes. I also like to use these as journals.The negative is that the more I held the notebooks the dirtier they got and there wasn't a way to clean them . I ended up covering the front, back and spine with adhesive vinyl. I like it that I don't have to worry about the notebooks ending up gross. I also like that I can use different colors of vinyl so I can easily see the one I want. I'm sure you could also stamp or use pretty papers and mod podge them for durability. Great way to be creative.

Notepad itself is excellent. But the amount of plastic wrapping is obscene. For a paper product, it's embarrassing. 3 layers of thick PVC is more than excessive. Even my 9 year old daughter was horrified. Amazon and the supplier should be ashamed

A5 spiral bound notebooks are my notebooks of size and choice. However, these are over zealously wrapped in plastic. I had to use scissors to prise these free from the top wrapping, only to find that each individual notebook is encased in more plastic. Is this necessary? Really not as each notebook has its own rainproof sleeve too (more plastic but more welcome!). That’s three layers of plastic then and unwrapping these is like the children’s party game of Pass The Parcel.These three notepads are of simple design, with an on-point Matt manilla eco-look. The covers are not wipe clean and do absorb dirt. However, as they have a plastic covering with which to protect the book from the elements and/or grubby finger prints, the exterior finish is almost irrelevant (although how ironic to go for an eco appearance and then cover it. It is hardly ‘a simple life’ as espoused on the front bottom right cover!). The 80g cream pages are not sumptuously thick but are blank which actually make them more useful for would-be artists than note-takers. Ruled lines are preferred. Using these with acrylic pens and a fine ink uniball, the paper did not leach inkHowever, these are useful in our home office, for note taking (and doodling!) and with 300 sides, these are bulkier than the average and will last some time. They are priced at just under £5 each. I always have two on the go at any one time.

Measuring 13.5 x 21cm.Inside are blank pages on nice thick 80gsm cream paper, and a total of 150 pages. It is a nice quality notebook, whether by the side of the phone, for work notes or sketching. It looks smart, has the logo "A simple life can change our lives" and is cool to use.Fully recommend these notepads, as they are great value and very rustic. Good for adults, good for kids too.

The backing is brown paper and they are in a plastic sleeve.There is a quote on the cover of each book that reads “A SIMPLE LIFE CAN CHANGE OUR LIVES”. I can’t help but feel that is probably I lovely saying that has got lost in translation and now isn’t the best use of English. Having said that the books feel great quality, the plastic sleeve is good for travel/on the go and the paper inside is a nice cream colour.The paper doesn’t feel very thick but can withstand the use of pencil, fine liner and sharpie but only for line drawings or writing. As soon as you “colour in” the ink transfers through to the next page, I experimented with this and have included the results in my photographs to show you.Good quality and value set of sketchbooks for writing or line drawings only. Happy to recommend.
