A stylish shelter from the rain
This is a great size for keeping the rain off, versus the smaller, packable umbrellas. Automatic opening is a very handy feature when the rain starts quickly or my other hand is holding a shopping bag. The handle is quite big but I got used to that. It's also just the right length to use as a walking stick so it's not awkward to walk around with when I'm not using it. The first time I opened it the mechanism was so silent I wondered if it wasn't working properly, but after using it for a while I can see it's just part of the overall quality.

Poorly made handle
We bought this umbrella specifically because of the handle. Few umbrellas these days seem to have the classic curved handle like this one. Sadly within a few weeks of owning it it slipped to the floor from where I had propped it and the handle snapped off. Beware it is plastic, largely hollow and therefore very weak. Other than the weakness of the handle it has worked well. Foolishly, I did not immediately return it to Amazon/Fulton as I should have and so I am stuck with an umbrella with a straight handle since it is now outside the returns window. Don't buy if you want a curved handle I would not buy another.

Singing in the rain
Very good, high quality plain unflashy umbrella. Everyone's always asking to borrow it and you can just about fit two people under it comfortably.It's quite light and easy to walk with and the spring loaded opening mechanism is reliable. I've taken this out in reasonably strong winds and plenty of heavy rain and I've yet to have any problems.

Very well build simple black umbrella. At 91cm closed I thought it would be long enough for someone of 6ft, however this is not the case this becomes a pain when walking as even though it is not designed as a walking aid, everyone uses this style of umbrella like a walking stick and it is a couple of centimetres short, which is a shame,

Price adequate to quality
I have purchased 10 of these umbrellas for an event. They look very good, very sturdy and absolutely worth every penny. Very pleased with the product, would recommend.
