Good value pump
The media could not be loaded. Bought this pump to replace the solar powered pump, which was ok when the sun was on it. This mains powered pump is really good not noisy at all.

Can clog and burn out but easy enough to keep running
I was away for a week, a visitor switched it on and forgot all about it, and following a leak the water level dropped enough for the surface debris to clog the filter and because it was home alone it burnt out. BUT at these prices it is a great bit of kit and easily copes with a 1.7m lift on the long waterfall it was installed to feed.Just don't leave it running unattended.

Used a replacement water pump for our cat fountain
The media could not be loaded. It’s pretty powerful and at first might have been a touch too powerful for our cat fountain but it’s calmed down now

Perfect for my small water feature
The media could not be loaded. I needed a small pump for a water feature and the specification for this one was ideal.The head of water it needed to pump is only 30cm and though the maximum height for this pump is 79.2cm it is variable so I was able to reduce the flow to the required amount.The dimensions of the pump are very small and easily fitted into the sump of my water feature. The pump needs to be submerged to operate properly without overheating or running dry. It has a ceramic shaft and impeller so it should have a long life, they claim over 20,000 hours.There were many other pumps available but this was the right size and the price was reasonable, unlike many others, there were no fixed delivery charges (I arranged to collect it locally for free).I collected it this afternoon and installed it in a few minutes. I wired it up via a remote controlled socket, adjusted the flow and it works fine and perfect for my small water feature. Recommended.

Lasted 4 months
Purchased for use in a ceramic cat water fountain. I liked that it was powered by a UK plug. I clean it by taking it all apart every 2 days. Sadly after cleaning yesterday evening the 24/06/2022 it has now stopped working a mere 4 months after purchase. Have purchased a different one I had bought previously twice as I have 2 cats and 2 ceramic water fountains that cost the same price as this one and is USB powered of which one of them lasted 18 months of being on 24/7 and the other one is still going. Sadly I cannot recommend based on my personal experience.

Bought for our cat fountain, as an original product was a ridiculous price.Set to minimum or its too strong a water flowOnly tip, is if you are going to use for similar, make sure you keep the water levels up!If it stops, its not broken, switch off and re-submerge away from the filter, and it will restart when switched on again

Certainly not a 90cm head.
I only use this to pump water from a bucket into an aquarium, but it struggles to push the water the 40-50cm to the tank meaning I’m still having to hold the bucket up above the tank to create the syphon effect.For a shallow water feature I think this would be a brilliant little pump, but it’s very limited power is never going to win any awards I’m afraid.
