Great for the cool weather arriving in keeping the heat of the engine.

My 1992 Grand Prix STE 5 speed, which I've owned now for 27 years, had a major oil leak years ago, that spattered all under the hood and pretty much destroyed the OEM hood heat blanket by oil soak. I had removed it decades ago and just had bare steel. After getting some other things taken care of that needed repairing, I wanted to drive the car more this year, but again noticed how much heat the 3400 DOHC engine put into the hood's sheetmetal and paint, not happy. So bought this heat absorbent matt. Put it on last Saturday, peeled the centre of the backing and adhered it to the hoods centreline, then worked outward toward both edges, came out looking quite nice, very pleased with the result. The glue is pretty much something, don't get it stuck to where you don't want it or the foam will rip as you attempt to remove it, I'm expecting after a few heat-cycles it should be bonded on like cement. Quite satisfied with the results, recommend without hesitations.

Weiß nicht was einige hier für Probleme hatten 🤷🏼Habe meine Motorhaube damit neu gedämmt.Trägerpapier ließ sich ohne Probleme lösen, Zuschnitt war leicht, reichte normale Haushaltsschere und für kleinere Ecken ein Cuttermesser. Klebt bestens, natürlich sollte der Untergrund gereinigt werden.Habe Absolut nichts zu bemängeln.
