This dog carrier is the BEST. My dog is about 21 pounds miniature American Shepard, just for reference. This carrier was very easy to put together. It's intuitive. It's construction is very strong. The fabric is also strong and waterproof. Since it has not cushioning and "upholstery" it will be easy to clean and maintain. It attaches well to our car seat in several places. It also has a spot for attaching your dog to the leash that comes with it. I like that it attaches to the back of the front seat as well as the back seat. This give more stability and room for the dog. As soon as we put our dog in it, she was quiet and happy to be a part of our journey, not stuck in the back in a crate. I put her doggie "donut" inside for her to curl up in and be a familiar comfort place for her. I'd say, skip the cheap "upholstery" on other carriers and flimsy straps and other junky features that will just break down. This German made carrier is intelligent and well made. Worth every penny, and more.

Easy install and great quality so far! Only takes up one seat space so it's nice and not bulky. Plenty of room for other people/groceries/ etc.

This dog car seat cover is a good size (I got a size large for my beagle. She's not big, but she loves space, so this is great for her). The sides of the seat cover are a bit flimsy, they fall over a bit, but they're still sturdy enough to stay up. Still really good for the price, just wish the sides were sturdier.

Utilized for my 25 pound mixed breed pup on first long car ride. The seat it large and able to fit blankets and toys. She did well with the seat but important to adjust the seat belt connection to appropriate length, otherwise its easy to escape. Nice way to keep dog contained with some flexibility in how much movement to provide. Keeps car sick accidents in the seat and easy to wipe up. Its a little clunky to put in the first time but stays put once in.

Way to flimsy for my dog… sides give me way with slight pressure from 2 small dachshunds

I’ve had this car seat for over a year now and it’s perfect for my dog. As of two days ago, I have a newfound appreciation for it.My dog, Nilla, has been afraid of the car and gotten carsick easily since I got her. The seat makes it impossible for her to stumble onto the floor or lose her balance easily - it’s like a safe little nest for her. I also feel more comfortable opening the window (she loves to stick her head out and hit helps her carsickness) because I know she’s hooked into the seatbelt strap. On the occasions where she has thrown up in the car, I actually removed the plastic rods from the seat and tossed it in the wash. Worked pretty well.Two days ago, Nilla and I were hit by a driver running a red light. The airbags deployed and my car is totaled. It was extremely scary and my first worry was whether or not she was okay. She is completely fine! Two of the straps on the car seat did rip off the main basket part during the impact. Nilla was scared and panting but didn’t whine or cry out and suffered no injuries. I truly believe without this car seat she could have flown forward or out the window (which was fully open) and died. All of the firefighters at the scene were wowed when I said my dog had been wearing her seatbelt too.Please, please invest in something for your car that will make your pets comfortable and safe. For reference, Nilla is 18 pounds and I bought the Medium size.

My 9.5 year old dog for the last 3 years would literally bounce around the car. Up and down the seats, onto the floor where she would shake. You can't have anything in the backseat or on the floor because she'd likely step on it. Nothing was working. This actually worked to keep her cozy!The biggest concern was sizing, I needed something sturdy enough for a 40lbs lanky dog. Walls had to be high enough so she felt safe. This is fantastic, works great in my CX-5. Perfect height so she can stick her head out the window and I have my backseat space back.I've only been using this for a couple weeks. I do have concerns that the "tent poles" that go in the top edges may not last but I'm hoping for the best. It's nice to have her not shaking in the back.

I bought this for my at the time 3 month old puppy to be in the car since we travel to see my partner often. I will say it works amazingly as a car seat. She’s able to hop in and curl up and just nap away and I don’t have to worry about her falling or sliding around even without the buckle attachment they offer. It sits quite secured to the seat, but does take a bit of wiggling to get it to sit perfectly against your seats. With that being said my only gripe is I wish it “folded” down nicer. If you’re just leaving it in your car buckled and strapped in it’s perfectly fine. But if you’re like me and swap cars and positions in the car it’s a little cumbersome, the rods you thread in through the tops are a hassle to settle in to their pockets and when removing the seat from car and folding it down it doesn’t quite fold nor is there any great way to carry it. Other than that for the cost it’s a great investment. Seems heavy duty enough to last my puppy at least until she’s about full size. The height is at a good spot where she can sit up and see over it but not so high she has to jump to see me. Keeps her safe and secure.
