Mitti Attar - Petrichor Oil – Soaked Earth Fragrance - A Geosmin Infused Perfume to Wear, Make Candles, Evoke Memories (2.5g)

This lovely oil smells of fresh turned earth; deep, rich, and slightly musty. It reminds me of digging in the ground at spring time, planting my garden and weeding out unwanted growth and hitting the deep, natural clay that lies beneath. Munnalal Sons and Company made a fabulous product!

Smells like hot tar NOT soaked earth.

Bottle is FAR smaller than the photo, hardly fair. Product is ok, though I've had & smelled superior ones.

I wanted to edit my review to be more fair! The smell is incredible when rubbed on the skin but disappears very soon after. When diffused it has very little scent but this could be because you’d have to put the whole bottle in to smell it!The bottle is so small I can't bare to waste more than a drop at a time. I would buy a 4 oz bottle of this and use it daily if available because it does smell exactly of wet road after the first rainfall!! Very authentic and refreshing!Very disappointed in the size of the vile. It’s itty bitty sample vile size is too overpriced to buy again! I was also told I would be sent a sample and was not sent anything else:(

The only oil I've ever found to accurately capture the smell of "Wet earth" or petrichor. Best I've found by far. I just hope they can capture that "fresh rain' smell as well.

They were so nice and communicated with me when they were out of stock. Even wrote me a handwritten letter with a free sample for the inconveniece. The only thing i wish is that was more product in the vial-but Mitti attar doesnt grow on trees! ;)

Will be buying again. It's just what it looks like and I love the smell. It has a clay/mud undertone in the smell, but it works somehow. This company gave me another item, Egyptian cinnamon, for free along side the petrichor. so nice!

I am working on a petrichor perfume and THIS is my main ingredient, it's absolutely on point!
