TY 36848 Gilda Pink Flamingo-Beanie BOOS, Multicolored, 15 cm

I ordered 2 as back up for my little girl .one had a lopsided nose like it wasn't placed correctly. I gave the other one to my daughter. This is what I found the next morning with stuffing in their beds. She has another one from the shops and it is worn out but still intact. I'm thinking 2 out of 2 with issues, this might not be the real thing.

We already have a TY wolf that our daughter loves and she's crazy about pandas at the mo so we thought we'd order this. Am really disappointed about the quality of the product, especially when you put it side by side to the one she already has, they are definitely not on the same level. To the point where I questioned whether it was a fake or not and I'm not totally convinced on the safety of this product.

I bought this pair for myself simply as decorative ornaments as I have a great interest in owls.They are very soft but not robust in quality as you might expect from TY. These are very suitable for sitting on a shelf and not being handled as they don’t seem to be robust.Of course this would be highly suitable for older children who collected Beanie Boos.I like these so much I have purchased another one. Birthday present for my 4 year old as he loves pandas.He chose it as he thought it was cute and wanted to have it at bedtime.It is much smaller than I thought, but I guess I didn't check the advert properly.My son likes the panda but unfortunately cannot use it at bedtime as it's feet are covered in glitter and it is like sandpaper. Would have been good to know this beforehand.

Both of my daughter's adore Beanie Boos, whilst Amazon isn't usually the cheapest place to buy them the convenience factor cones into play and I often get them from here.This one is as good as the rest, well built, vivid colours, the same ridiculously big eyes that seem to send little girls all gooey! They also love the unicorn horn.

The fur is not soft at all and feels choppy. It's larger than I expected; medium size. Cute sparkly footsies but other than that really lacks the quality of usual Ty products. YET the tag is original. Confused!

Although this toy is very cute especially for little girls who like pink, the finish is a bit 'shaggy and therefore may not be suitable for some children unsupervised. Time will tell if the finish deteriorates or sheds fibres.
