Worked great for photographing the eclipse with my cellphone camera
I bought this before the total eclipse, as I wanted to use my cellphone to take pictures. I wanted a telephoto lens, and I wanted more than a cellphone telephoto lens.I liked this device because it was easy to use, and the focus was easy to adjust. The cellphone clamp adjusted easily to my phone and held it securely. I aligned the lens with the hole on the clamp and attached it to the back of the monocular. I used a bigger tripod that I already had for my photos. I'm very pleased with my pictures. This did a great job!The monocular is sturdy, light weight, and compact. It comes with a nice protective bag and lens covers. It would easily fit into a backpack or purse.

Fits My Needs
I purchased this monocular telescope to use while on vacation in the Great Smoky Mountains. I used it for magnification of many objects but especially enjoyed using it for Elk watching in the National Park. I found it very easy to use the two settings to adjust the focus and distance and found it comfortable to use while wearing glasses. I used it with and without glasses with only a minor adjustment of the eye lens. I found objects to be bright and clear even as light was fading late in the day. I also like that you only need one hand for viewing and making the necessary adjustments. This monocular doesn't have image stabilization so I did use the provided tripod for stabilization in some cases and it works well. It also comes with a Smartphone Adapter but I have only used it to make sure it will work with my phone. It isn't hard to attach to the monocular but that's as far as I've gotten with it. Overall, this monocular meets my expectations and the price is right.

Nice little monoclar
I bought this for the fun of it. Thinking I'd use it at WNBA Storm games, concerts, hikes, etc. I haven't really used it yet except to check everything out. I found it difficult to line up the phone to take a picture. I was looking forward to that feature but I'm too lazy to send it back and try another one. It will replace my grandmother's ancient binoculars which I kept as a keepsake after she passed. I'm sure it will get some use. I was thinking of buying more as gifts but I'm on the fence as I wonder if it is just something that won't get used. However, two of the people I want to buy it for are birders, so who knows. It's about the same power as my grandmother's binoculars and takes a little getting use to, being a monocular, and me never having used one of those. Still, I look forward to using it. It is worth it compared to others? I have no idea. It seems like a decent deal ($55) and decent item to me. It's easy to use, it has nice features and it is small. The belt bag and tripod are also cool accessories. It does seem sturdy enough.

80 x 100? Not Even Remotely Close!
The media could not be loaded. To be clear -- no pun intended -- I didn't expect Zeiss optics here, but this thing is pretty bad. You know the old saying "You get what you pay for?" That rings especially true with this supposed "High Quality" monocular. I suppose quality is in the eye of the beholder. As another reviewer mentioned, the ratings are grossly inaccurate. I measured the objective lens with a digital caliper (yeah, I know, even the most basic ruler would have more than sufficed but I'm me), and it is supposedly 100 (that's in millimeters, folks) but as you can see in my photo, it only measures slightly over 41mm. Then there's the ridiculously overstated zoom power of 80. Really? 80?!? Naw, this thing is more like 8x, and that's a stretch. Then there is the optics "quality." Basically, you get a decently clear image in the center, say 1/2 of the field of view. Outside of that, the remaining 1/2 is blurry. Strike 2.I tried to get the cell phone adapter to work with my iPhone 15 Pro Max, but that was an exercise in futility. I could never get any of the 3 cameras to line up and get an image through the monocular lens. Strike 3, aaaaannnd it's going back.If you could get this for around $15, and it was intended for an 8-10 year old kid, it would be alright. Or for something to throw in the glovebox of your side-by-side. Otherwise, don't waste your money.

Works great!
I've been using this for a couple of years now and used it for watching birds and looking at sights while traveling. The quality of this is great, the picture is clear, and it is simple to use. It comes with a convenient carrying bag and caps to protect the lenses, although both caps can be easily lost, so be careful! It also comes with a tripod and an attachment for attaching the monocular to your smartphone and taking photos with, although I never use these. Overall, great product!

It's ok
Nice gift for anyone interested in nature, but I expected more. I guess thats why the price is what it is. It's not really night vision, and it has like one zoom. You're basically just changing the depth of field like regular binoculars. Also, using it with a phone isn't really beneficial unless your video recording, or taking pictures, but you have to line the viewpoint up with your correct smartphone camera lense. That probably took the longest to do for me until I realized there was a twist nozzle on the viewfinder to loosen it and adjust it.It's a good product, nice size, and weight overall. Definitely easy to carry.

Not what it claims
It definitely doesn't have the magnification it claims and the lense is wavy along the edges so it is bad quality overall. It works for super basic and if you don't care that it's not what it claims. Only paid $30 (it said it should be $500, which is absolutely a lie). Haven't tried the accessories with it yet, so I cannot review that part of the purchase besides the fact the tripod is 90% plastic and not great either.
