Pit Bull Pb9011Nk Rock Beast XL 1.9 Scale Tires with Foam (2Piece)

Noob to scale rc crawling. 20 yr veteran of actual , full-scale rockcrawling. I know all about the rocksport technicalities & handling. It doesn't matter if your crawling a 5500lb ,4 door Jeep on 40s or a 1/10 scale , wide-bodied crawling truggy on 4.75" tires ; the actual rubber tires in both scenarios are going to claim approximately 75%-80% of the effort. The other 20% is made of small , individual skills or options ( line choice, weight distribution, wheelspeed, conditions, driver aptitude, et.al) but I'm just saying this activity is nearly ALL ABOUT THE TIRES.This is fourth set of tires I've bought for a Vaterra Ascender WB2 K10 from '72. Each have been deficient in some manner but then I sprung for the ones w/ such a reputation . I was not just equally impressed, I was floored . I have bought so many tires over the years. I know 35" -42" bias or radial carcass design, tread behavior, terrain/conditions affects, durability to durometer, on & on. Well, let me just say that these 1/10 scale PItBulls are every bit the same product my pals that run them on real , full size crawler rigs & Jeeps. Even gusset reenforced sidewalls inside !The 'Alien Snot' compound is otherworldly adhesive when you scrub them down w/ simple green before mounting. You will find they stick to your fingers once rid of the mold residue.If the RC could escape gravities pull, it would literally climb walls with these tires.Now that you've tried the others , coughup the small added $ for a set of these. There a reason so many RC guys run them .

Great all around and Best on dry rock. Included nice open cell single stage foam work best on 8-10 pound rig. Off camber lines are great. I could improve these with a set of Pitbull specific XL CI comp cut close cell foams for sure.These are not cheap. But you are getting every dollars worth of technology. They need to be washed of molding lubricant before mounting. And this will get the broken in faster and stickier from the get go. I have many other tires to play with. And these Pit Bulls complete things. The best of my collection of tires.

My favorite scale tires, in every size! I've got 1.9, 1.9xl, 2.2 RockBeast and XOR, recently got some berserkers from PBRC, too, I haven't run them yet, but I absolutely love the 1.9 rockbeast XLs with the single stage Crawler Innovations for the 4.25 tires on Vanquish Methods on the VS4-10 that I recently built. They work better every run! Pitbull all the way!!

I bought these for my Axial G6 RC Jeep. They are a bit bigger than the stock 1.9 tires and look very cool. The treads and grip of these tires is great, but the foams they came with are a little too firm in my opinion for crawling. I ended up getting softer foams, so in total it was a fairly expensive upgrade.

Works great and really like the look. Will take out to see if the performance matches the look.

These tires really are awesome. Buy them to crawl.

Excellent tire. Requires break in to find the best performance. Very happy with these.
