Never get tired of reading this book
I was honored to have a copy of the Sinhala version of this Persian literature reading it again almost 20 years later brought back great memories of how I used to use Mulla's logic and Witt as means of escaping traps. The Witt and wisdom from Mulla Nazrudin is a great read for both Young and old alike. Recommend this Persian literature to anyone interested in Persian wisdom and culture.

Poorly translated plagiarism
Elcot has collected some the classic stories that we know from the books of Idries Shah. Which is OK by me, because I imagine these are timeless tales, and Shah's books are (sadly) not available on Kindle. But reading from this collection you get the feeling that the stories were translated by software from some other language to English. A typical example: "My this response was to his behavior then." Looking at it in the context of the story, this sentence apparently means "My response today was to how he behaved previously." I get the feeling that either the author does not understand the stories he is presenting, or that he does not have more than rudimentary English language skills, or that he is just not very careful about the work he does. Or all three. I very much hope that Shah's books will soon be available on Kindle...they are the real deal.

Bad Translation
The translation is horrible not even half as funny as it sounds in Farsi.
