This item was delivered four days ago. It was received with a full charge so it was put to the test immediately. Much research was done regarding the technology before purchasing this unit. The power rating of this device is 1055 mW. Upon receiving it, the specifications identified the power of each emitter to add to approximately 1055 mW. This was one of the primary specifications used in selecting this device. Each emitter has a tolerance of plus or minus 20% - which is sizeable.It is strongly recommended that each buyer do some research on the techniques used by the 'professionals' before setting up a schedule for use. Understanding the mechanism employed will help explain some of the effects experienced while using it. There are many valuable clips available on YouTube. It is suggested that you find those posted on the concept of LLLT and how to use it. There are no specific guidelines supplied with the unit.My daughter and I have seen a definite improvement in the condition of our knees and legs after only a couple of short sessions. Some improvement has been experienced with neck pain. That is not to say this is typical. As with all treatments, some experience immediate relief while some see no improvement at all.The device is quite attractive. It feels good in the hand with just enough weight to present the appearance of being a 'serious' machine. The instructions in the box are good regarding the use of the switches (2) and how to use them with an emphasis on how the use the device safely. Under no circumstances should the LLL be pointed toward the eyes of the user, bystanders, or pets. Safety glasses are provided for the user only. To visualize the radiation pattern, shine it onto a non-reflective surface and vary the distance from the device to the surface. The 650 nm LEDs are visible. To confirm that the 808 nm emitters are working, you may use a solid state camera. Please use the safety glasses to avoid accidental exposure. Avoid using around the face or thyroid areas without the express permission of a doctor. Personally, I just exclude any area above the neck and the thyroid areas.The instructions require the device to the charged for 10 hours for the first three discharge cycles. No further guidance is supplied.My personal observations include the following:1. No tingling or other contra-indications have been experienced.2. There is a noticeable amount of heat created on the contact surface when the battery is near depletion. In fact, my unit becomes uncomfortably hot. The battery power meter shows one bar, but I believe that is the absolute minimum that it will indicate. The heat is intense, but probably not dangerously so, but may burn sensitive skin). I will follow up after the second unit has been received.3. After recharging the battery, no heat is detected until the battery runs down again. I use this heat as an indicator of when to charge the battery. However, no attempt to charge the battery should be made until the unit has returned to room temperature. This is standard battery practice.4. Am I satisfied? Yes.5. Do I wish for more controls? Yes (multiple power settings, frequency adjustment. All are available on devices many times more costly than this device.)6. Would I buy it again? Yes, in fact I just ordered another one for my daughter.7. Is it a 'miracle' machine? Not really, but it does seem to be more effective than other methods of treatment that I have tried. Your experience may vary.In summary, it appears to be helping my arthritic knees.I hope this has helped someone.If realistic expectations are held, my conclusion is that it does help in a number of fields.Addendum:As promised the second unit has been received. It performs exactly the same as the first, so the heating experienced appears to be normal.After several sessions, my pain level is considerably lower than it was prior to beginning. Tasks that left me stiff and sore are now essentially painless. There is some residual pain, but much lower than before.

I bought this for knee pain and carpal tunnel in my thumb. Didn't want to go cheap, but also didn't want to break the bank. This seemed to be a good compromise. Packaging is good, product seems to be well made and relatively easy to use. However, instructions are basic. I would like to know how often I can safely use LLLT. Once a day for 15 minutes? Twice a day? Also, should you hold in place on, or above the affected area, or move about? Finally, if I have problems who do you contact. There is NO company name, logo, etc. on the packaging, product, or literature. They tell you to register, but there's no address. Finally, I make the mistake of ordering this item the day prior to it dropping in price by $40. But that's my bad.

I am damaged goods. DAV and my pain must be too much for the. i noticed every once and a moon it will not stay powered, These two reasons cased me to ask for a return. dealing with the company has been great and they approved my return. Ill follow up but would recommend tryomg the treatments

I love that it works better than advertised. This is the second one I have bought. The cold laser function is excellent for my knee pain from Arthritis. Having 2 now, makes my treatments faster because I can apply on 2 different portions of my knee.Shipping from the seller YPCOLTD was extremely fast. I received in 2 days after ordering. Communication was great also.

The laser came fully charged. I tried it on my knee first. I wasn't sure if it was psychological or if it worked until I tried it on my back. I suffer from severe sciatic pain down both legs. I dont believe that it heals the problem but it does take away the pain. I am impressed. Make sure you get the strongest one. Its about $200 from Amazon. It's worth a try if you suffer like I do. Like I said. It might be psychological but I don't care. If it doesn't work for you. You can always send it back. I is rechargeable also.

Unfortunately I lost the power cord and can't find specs or link to buy another. Any one have connection or specs?

tells you how to operate the controls but does not tell you how to use the device such as how high above the skin or how fast to go. does not relate the strength of the glasses anywhere. instructions are in english but very chinese in wording and syntax. not impressed for the amount I paid.

I used it daily on my dog. I recharged it per the directions. Once the charge was complete it no longer functioned beyond turning on and off.I would bypass this product if you are looking for one.
