Trading Market Dynamics Using Technical Analysis
D**E
Continuation from previous books
If you have studied her previous books "Technical Analysis for the trading professional", "Fibonacci Analysis" and "Mastering Elliot Wave", you would find this book a refresher as well as a look into the use of her technical analysis tools onto recent charts of major stock and indexes (others as well) well into January 2022. An elaboration of the moving averages on price used, detrended oscillator, moving averages spread, George Lane's CPR (you will have to read it to know what it is), are some of the new stuff mentioned. There were several typo and page errors found but does not affect the interpretation of the charts. One big caveat: if you think you could just read the book and apply the concepts and be profitable on the onset, stop dreaming. You need the trading methodology, especially the mindset, and hours of reading and understanding the application of the tools and conditions on charts to be able to pull the trigger at the moment and have the confidence to stick with the analysis.

Absolute must for any trader working with technical analysis
I have been studying technical analysis for over 20 years and I can confidently say that this is as an essential item in your technical analysis library. It covers all the major bases including in depth market analysis using indicators, calculating high probability price targets using Fibonacci analysis and how to apply inter-market analysis to one’s own market of interest. The latter is vitally important in today’s complex financial environment, where are all world markets are inter-related.Connie Brown brings it all together in the final chapter with a monthly trader’s log, demonstrating the analysis performed and trades executed. This is a detailed outline of her thinking as the month progresses. It re-iterates how inter-market analysis, indicators and price targets are used to find trading opportunities. The entry points, stops losses and trade management along with trade exits are all detailed for one to study. This chapters moves theory into application. It is a very rare find among technical analysis resources. Especially from a hedge fund trader of Connie Brown’s caliber. This book comes highly recommended.

Top 5 Books in Technical Analysis
I’ve been studying, applying and making a living off of the use of technical analysis for nearly 10 years. This book is arguably one of the top 5 most valuable books I’ve read regarding the topic (two others are also by Constance Brown). She has a way of explaining a technique that I’ve been using for years in such a way that Makes me realize I didn’t understand how to fully use it the entire time. The chapters on bound and unbound oscillators and how to properly use them is worth the cost of the book alone. However, she provides a daily log on how she analyzed and navigated the first month of the current bear market in ‘22 through the use of technical analysis. I’ve read and re-read this part of the book a few times already. There aren’t many active traders of her caliber willing to provide their techniques to the public. Anyone serious about technical analysis should own this book.

One of the best books to learn to trade capital markets
I’ve been reading connies work since 2010, she has been one of my main teachers. I only wish I had this book when I started taking risk in capital markets. The book teaches a very solid foundation, the importance of debt and currency markets, TA, intermarket analysis and much more. It’s an amazing book, the detail and color is first of its kind and I can’t recommend this book enough, it’s def a top 5 book I’d recommend to anyone wanting to learn about taking risk and protecting hard earned capital as well as anyone wanting to learn more about TA

One of the best Technicians in the field
Having read 3 of her prior books and benefited from them all, I am excited for this new one. C Brown manages to pull the story out of the data to make charts fascinating. That's the real magic I get from reading this book-- it changes the way I see something as mundane as a chart. If context is king, then the Market Dynamics discussed in this book are invaluable. Highly recommended for fellow market technicians.

Wonderful information from beginner to veteran
I came across Connie studying for the CMT designation and immediately bought her massive deep dive, 32nd Jewel. So when this was released I had to have it. What a great read to smooth out the edges from years ago and continue down the path, written by an absolute genius when it comes to TA. Highly recommend.

Awful print quality.
I couldn't believe when I saw that the book has ADVERTISING throughout its contents. Almost every 20-30 pages you have advertising for IFTA or their joint ventures. This is the first time I see ads in a book. Not to mention throughout spelling mistakes, as well as badly positioned paragraphs. This feels like unfinished work, thrown into a book, not proof read and...well...advertising!I started my return process right away. I'm very disappointed with this purchase as I've had very high expectations.

A very complete learning package
I am very impressed by this book written by renowned technical analyst Constance Brown. It is a full colour publication of nearly 400 pages and covers the topic of technical analysis in a very comprehensive way.Starting with an overview of the markets, it goes on to discuss cycles, correlation of market relationships, market patterns and oscillators. It then builds on these basic topics by considering the important issues of entries and exits, position sizing and risk management. Finally there is an excellent section on managing the trade with practical examples.Written on behalf of the International Federation of Technical Analysts, this book goes one step further and puts the reader in touch with the many IFTA member Societies around the world. Your education in technical analysis has a great start by reading this book but the process is incomplete until you meet with other practioners and learn from their experiences and share your own. Learning technical analysis is a journey which is best undertaken shared with others.A great book filled with much information and personal insights. Thank you Constance Brown.
