I saw a few complaints and felt I should reply: The first time I made patties, they also fell apart. By making them in advance and refrigerating them, they make an excellent patty. I agree on the seasoning. I add mustard and onions as well as other spices. I make a concoction of kale, beans, tomato sauce, onions and garlic with sauteed broken pieces( after refrigeration). Delicious!

A waste of money. Easy enough to prepare and kind of difficult to cook. Absolutely no taste. Do not recommend!

It seems Vejje brand of vegan chicken and beef is not currently available (did they go out of business?) and this brand of vegan chicken is a nice substitute. I cooked it as a crumble since I mainly eat it in salads. There are 3 meals (30 grams of protein each) within each pouch. Great deal for the money!

I saw this on Shark Tank and bought it because they said it tasted great and I thought it would be a good item for camping trips. I no longer believe them when they say a Shark Tank product is good, (definitely a conflict of interests). I prepared as per package directions and shaped into patties to cook in a saucepan with butter. The patties crumbled apart as they were cooking and were impossible to flip without falling apart. It tasted like wet cardboard . It tastes NOTHING like chicken. I suppose if you put enough spices and/or sauces on it, it would taste OK, probably that's what happened on Shark Tank. Too many other better tasting choices out there. I would not buy this again.

I was very excited to try this product but unfortunately ended up being disappointed with my first batch. The Good: If properly seasoned, the taste and consistency is much better than other similar soy based ground proteins that I've tried. This product is great for a ground plant based protein. The Bad: This product does not stay together at all. I was skeptical of the reviews of it turning into ground protein but unfortunately it is true. I tried making a nugget, a tender, and a patty in the first batch. The result was a lot of crumbles with a few large chunks. For the second time I tried adding an egg to bind everything together and it (mostly) barely held together. Overall it tastes great as long as you don't care about the form of the finished product.

The seasoning mixed into this is absolutely delicious. It is a savory seasoning. Super easy to make and a great choice for high protein for vegans. I usually just form it into balls but as a crumble it would be great too. I LOVE this product and I’m mad that I didn’t discover it sooner. I have already purchased this many times over.
