French Cookies LU Barquettes Strawberry

Delicious little cookies. I used these as ears for my daughter Kitty cat birthday cake! Turned out perfect!

I discovered these cookies on a recent trip to Paris, in a little grocery. In Europe they are only around 1.50 Euro per box (!) and took a chance on the apricot, which were just delicious. Upon return to the US, I found these (strawberry), albeit at much greater cost, and ordered. They are just as good, but I find the strawberry filling a bit bland compared to the apricot, which is tart--just my preference. I like how each box contains three sealed packets -- each packet contains (as I recall) six cookies, so the rest stay fresh. Lu makes a lot of varieties of cookies and I intend to try others as I find them in local grocery stores that have imported cookies.

Love these little gems! Small bites of yummy cookie and jam. Very good quality.

I purchased different types of biscuits from different sellers hard to find here in the states and these were fresh and delicious! A couple of the other sellers sent complete garbage so it was nice to actually get what I paid for. We will be ordering again soon!

bought these thinking they'd be different and special. They are -- dry and brittle. Difficult to believe that any Frenchman would tolerate these!
