I bought this for travel after spending the night during a power outage sharing a bed with a toddler who is used to having white noise. "Mimi, why it quiet? Where noise? Why electricity not working? When electricity get fixed? Mimi, why you not talking to me? Mimi, can't sleep with no noise." While that was sweet, and I love him dearly, I missed the white noise, too. I bought this, have traveled with it several times. It is nice to be able to place it in the spot I really like, even if there is no outlet nearby. It has a lot of different sounds and volumes to choose from, and remembers the last setting. The night light was advertised as having three levels, but mine only has too bright and a pulsing light which I find weird. It recharges in less than an hour after using it for about 8 hours. I hope I am never with a toddler and no power overnight again but I WILL BE PREPARED!!!!!

My husband needs a fan to run every night to go to sleep. Sometimes multiples honestly. When we were going on a cruise one of my concerns was how we could still accomplish this. This portable device worked perfectly! It had multiple sounds which he enjoyed going through and it sounds just like a real fan. Like how small and contact it was and easy to just throw in luggage without worrying. About the size of a basic voice assistant like google nest or the original Alexa dot.

UPDATE: After leaving my original review, the seller reached out and their amazing customer service has me coming back to update my review. I would certainly purchase from them again. They stand by their products. ORIGINAL: I’ve had this for about 3 weeks and in that time, it has randomly shut off in the middle of the night on 3 different occasions. It’s plugged in at all times, so I’m not sure the issue, but my newborn wakes up every time it randomly shuts off, so I would not recommend this product, nor would I purchase it again.

I didn't know anything about "travel" white noise devices, so I just started reading the different descriptions next to the popular devices listed on Amazon. The value of battery-operated became clear, and rechargeable. The value of something as silly as a string loop became clear. The device arrived just in time for my packing, and I was surprised that it weighed more than I expected. In my eyes, that's actually a plus too - a bit heavier duty suggests durability, and perhaps the battery lasts a bit longer. I'm pleased with this purchase. (Suggestion to manufacturer: use a larger font on your instruction sheet.)

Got this for my baby. Had nice volume and a great battery life. Used it for less than a month and it already cuts in and out, randomly stops working and gets staticky like a failing speaker in a car. I did drop it once, but other than that it was always hung up on a wall. I have 2 sound machines, the other one being much cheaper and much more abused, but apparently much sturdier too.

This white noise machine is compact, has many noises to choose from, holds battery well, and I like you can use it while it is plugged in charging. However, at least once a week, it glitches. The noise shuts off by itself, and you can hear a faint ticking sound which almost sounds like it is trying to turn itself back on. This machine has auto shut off if you select a timer, but this happens randomly even when I don’t have the timer on, so it definitely is a glitch of some sort. And unfortunately when this happens, it immediately wakes my baby up. I’ve been dealing with it in hopes it would get better. However, I’ve finally had enough and am currently writing this review in the middle of the night while trying to nurse my baby back to sleep after he woke up from the noise shutting off.

I purchased this to use in the hospital for when I had my baby because of how loud it can be in the hospital when you’re trying to sleep. This worked like a charm. Now I can use it on the go for my newborn to keep him calm. Very easy to use and charge lasts a long time
