The Overlap Dip Treated 6x4 Pent Shed from Forest is a great storage solution for all types of gardening equipment, from tools to lawnmowers. The pent roof and windows allow plenty of room and light. The roof style is perfect for situating against a back wall or fence. The shed's improved design features smaller sections, making it easier to handle and quick and easy to assemble. The straight cut boards are overlapped, allowing for natural movement of the timber so it can adapt to the changing weather conditions and ensure rain water run-off. Rather than the more common OSB, this shed features a Pressure Treated solid timber floor. Its superior strength allows for the storage of heavier items like lawnmowers or bags of compost.Increased framing gives this garden building a strong and long lasting construction. With more timber, these are the best overlap sheds we've ever made. The shed door is braced with double “Z” framing for rigidity and is hung with secure hidden hinges. It is fitted with a hasp and staple latch that can be padlocked (padlock not included). The door can be hinged either side. The two fixed windows are made from shatterproof PET glazing, which will not become yellow or brittle over time. The shed is flexible and allows you to hang the door to the left or right to suit your garden. The Dip Treatment that has been applied at the factory protects the timber and this 6x4 Pent Shed is supplied with a 10 year Anti-Rot guarantee. Annual retreatment is required. These great value garden sheds are manufactured in the UK using FSC certified timber from sustainable sources and come with all fixtures, fittings and felt needed to build, along with easy to follow instructions. Money wise - okay - ish.
Unfortunately the shed that arrived, had 3 bent wood batons, so I had to buy more out of my own pocket. No point sending sged back to Amazon cos another shed would have been delayed For the price I paid fot the shed, I would have expected the windows to be of better quality - anyone could pull flimsy windows off. Thought at least there would have been 4 main sections to shed, came with more than necessary, so not an ideal shed to put together. Hinges for door are so small, I had to buy bigger hinges. Nothing fitted properly, so had to be tweaked. On the whole, once I bought parts to replace things, its a sturdy little shed. Wouldn't buy again though.

Good quality shed, just make sure you receive the correct style before building.
Good quality shed. Ordered a pent shed received an apex shed. Contacted Amazon and received a small discount. Some of the nails were not placed correctly but it was an easy problem to solve. Slight warping on the roof panel led me to add an additional bit of wood to ensure it leveled out correctly. Happy with product and service.

Extremely overpriced and atrocious quality.
Strong words but not hyperbole. Before I list the things wrong with this shed, I must say that the seller- who is not the manufacturer- was very responsive and helpful in trying to solve problems. Buy things from them with confidence. But not this item.So- delivered without the promised (by Forest Garden) delivery slot being texted and agreed, but we were in and the delivery guy was very helpful so no harm done. Delivery was definitely the high point of the whole experience. One of the window panels was missing but the plan was to construct shutters in any case, again no big for me but other people might be annoyed.Instructions are extremely vague and consist mainly of small line drawings of limited use. This might have been okay if the two dozen or so lengths of wood and five bags of screws were labelled with their length which is clearly shown in the drawings at least. They weren't.Oh, stop moaning and get a tape measure out! you shout. I did. Unlabelled wood is not the end of the world. The state of the wood on the other hand... Not a single shiplap board has fewer than 8 knotholes, most are in double figures. And the biggest of the knotholes have cracked in the centre, right through the wood. About 100 cracks that need to be filled if you want any chance of keeping the rain outside the building. There are also several major cracks to various shiplaps. The batons for strengthening have huge splinters down each edge and several have gouges out of the wood. They are also full of knotholes, so enjoy drilling into that. The panels don't fit cleanly together because of gouges and bowing, so that's a lot more filling. Water WILL come in between the panels and the floor however tightly they are screwed down, so filler there too.For £200, I'd be unimpressed but accept that if you buy cheap, you get cheap. For £400, I genuinely feel ripped off. The seller (who is good remember!) did pass my comments and pictures to the manufacturer but no response. They don't sell direct to customers, presumably so that the retailers can be subjected to the endless angry complaints instead. If you don't have any construction experience and access to a lot of tools and timber scraps (I do) don't buy this shed. If you want a quick easy build to house your lawnmower, don't buy this shed. If you want a shed worth anywhere close to £400, even allowing for spiralling timber costs, don't buy this shed.

My husband wanted this to store bikes, scooters & garden tools. It was good value & does the job perfectly.

A great little shed, 2 of us put it up quite easily, it's not the thickest but once it's all together and on a good base its quite robust, so far its been water tight and we have had some bad rain around this area
