Really good fitness watch for the price!
I purchased this FitVII watch in December, and have been extremely pleased with it. In its price range, the features of the FitVII are as good as others out there. It's sturdy and comfortable to wear 24/7, available in several colors including a light purple color, my favorite! I particularly love the simple sleep monitor that, to me, seems pretty accurate in keeping track of the total time slept each night. Works for me! I also love the Phone Locator function included in the features. I "lose" my phone frequently, and it's a pleasure to be able to locate it "hidden" nearby, right where I left it!This fitness tracker's main features, though, count steps, distance, time and calories for a variety of exercises, from running to swimming to cycling, and many others. I find the step and distance monitors about half a mile short when running on the treadmill (doesn't match up with GPS or gym equipment measurements), but overall I can factor this in when I log fitness numbers into MyFitnessPal after every workout. The app is very easy to use, imple in its layout but providing all the info I need to track my progress.Unfortunately, the charging function worked very well until two days ago when I was unable to charge the watch (for my activity level, I charge it about every 10-12 days). I immediately sought help from customer support at the manufacturer, and my concerns were addressed professionally and promptly by Allisa, the customer support rep at FitVII. She is arranging for a new magnetic charger to be shipped to me immediately (these magnetic chargers are for the most part not interchangeable with other fitness watches). So Allisa's expertise and guidance have been most helpful in the diagnostic process as she wanted to ensure that the problem was the cord and not the watch itself.I will provide an update to this review when the new charger arrives in the next few days. In any event, prompt service and support are critically important, and I am very pleased with the response to my concerns thus far.UPDATE: The replacement charge cord was received three days after contacting Allisa at customer support. It works perfectly, and I'm very satisfied with the outstanding customer support I received! I highly recommend this fitness watch and the customer-centric sales and support at FitVII.

Great watch at a reasonable price!
I agree with another review that the instructions list a bit in the translation from Chinese to English but once you charge the watch & download the app for it, you can easily get it paired to your phone & set up. I’m 72 & I had it going in short order. The home screen is easy to see & scrolling through the options straight forward. I’ve received text messages on it & checked my heartbeat & blood pressure. I haven’t had an opportunity to answer a call on it yet, but am hopeful all will work as advertised. The only minor negative I have is that I wish the band was a bit longer. Overall I am very happy with this watch & the price was easy on my budget too!

Lasted About 3 Months
The watch is nice. If you can follow written directions, its fairly easy to get it up and running, customize it, and use it. However, it stopped working completely after only 3 months. Customer Service, Allisa, was thorough, and has replaced the watch, but it was all by e-mail at [email protected]. I had to call Amazon to get the e-mail. Then it was a back and forth exchange for a week, which I thought was excessive. First I sent the receipt and picture of the watch with no display. Then they wanted a picture of the box it came in. Then a video of the watch charging. While all the requests were fine, it seemed excessive and took a week to get a replacement sent. There's obviously a HUGE time delay because the company is on the other side of the world, so each response took 24 hours to come back. So, now we see if this watch will last longer than 2 months. I do like the warranty from the manufacturer of two years. Keep your box and receipt! Also, to be fair, we have another watch bought at the same time, and it is still working at this time.

Easy to read but not the least bit accurate
I ordered this watch for my husband as his regular Fitbit (Charge 4) is difficult to read outside (i.e. the golf course). We used it for almost a month and these were our findings:Pros-*Loved the look of the watch - color display and very easy to read, even outside. Changeable watch faces via the app.*Price was amazing - 1/3 of the cost of the Fitbit Charge 4.*Band was superior to the Charge 4 with actual spring loaded pins rather that a flimsy clip connection.*Charging cord- has magnetic pins and is very easy to use.Cons-We consistently found the FITVII step counter reading low so we calibrated it against his Fitbit Charge 4 by wearing both trackers on the same day. Our findings were disappointing. The longer the timeframe the more the discrepancy was between the two trackers. During a round of 9 holes of golf, the FitVII was off by over 2000 steps. I immediately contacted customer support (via email) and their response was that there had been complaints about the accuracy of their products and they were working to improve them.. In particular, here is an excerpt from their reply: "I would also like to inform you that the product calculates the steps based on the hand waving and distance, so if you are walking, it records the steps according to how long you have been walking and your hand waving. If you walk without waving your hands, the device may not record any steps." What??? So the GPS connection is only activated with hand motion, and since most of us walk with some hand movement, it needs "excessive" hand movement.*Heartrate monitoring - The readout that displays on the tracker is just the readout of the last time you activated the heartrate feature. You must select it, then wait 30-45 seconds for it to monitor your heartrate for a reading. Our regular Fitbit monitors heartrate constantly so this feature on the FITVII is quite inferior.*Blood Pressure- We found this to be all over the place. I read a review by a Doctor, and he was so alarmed by the inaccuracy of this feature, that he would not recommend it.*We didn't monitor other features such as Sleep Tracking (but read reviews that it is also highly inaccurate). In summary, it is going back. Initially it looked promising, but you get what you pay for.
