Embarrassingly good.
Disaster! That's how I would describe my opening the box experience with RUIPRO's fiber optic 15m cable I had just received along with my over studied, analyzed and researched 4k Laser projector.Don't get me wrong. There simply was no other cable as beautifully packed as this one. The foam covers around the connector edges. The plastic protectors on the cable ends. The velcro straps. . . oh the velcro straps. . . We are talking cable fasteners on a whole different level here. But what good was all this fancy stuff for a cable that did not work. DARN IT! I knew I shoulda gotten for that 'certified' option everyone was talking about on that AV forum. I didn't. I went for Amazon's reviewers option instead. What do 123 people with 4.5 stars reviews know? NOTHING! IT DIDN'T WORK! No signal. Zip. Zilch. NADA!The realization of having spent upwards of two hundred bucks on a freakin cable was upon me. What made matters worse was the fact that I did have a 30 meter non optic HDMI cable dating back to the Clinton administration (ok, maybe Obama first term.) That ages old cable worked. Flawlessly. Why did I spend all that money for nothing. I SHOULDA GOTTEN THE CERTIFIED CABLE. Not this crap.So the installer arrived. Good, time to unload all that frustration on the first innocent soul around. Besides, he's getting paid for it so the poor guy (very cool dude actually) can't complain. So am walking out with all that frustration already thinking of the million ways I could trash this crap on the internet based on my lenghly knowledge of cable technology when cool dude turns around and says. . . "boss, did you check the terminals? Fiber optic cables need source and a display ends to match."Of course, they were not.Flipped the ends. Ran a gazillion test (so that I don't entirely look like a fool), it worked. Flawlessly.Thank you RUIPRO. Your cable is embarrassingly good. :)

a 21st century solution to a 21st century problem!
So you bought that shiny 4kTV eh? So you bought that HDCP and HDMI 4k-UHD complaint amp to push that beautiful picture to the new TV. Then you bought that "50ft - 4k high bandwidth HDMI cable" plug it all together and it just won't work, doesn't matter how hard you bang your head on the floor it just won't work... I'm not sure why people (me) cheap out on the wire, but they (we) do. I was able to tweak setting and got 30Hz working on 4:2:0 but anything 'better' was not stable, if I got a picture it would blink in and out like a pixie on crack.... Then I ponied up and bought this fiber HDMI cable. Now life is good. So good I bought another, a little longer for a different location... and life was even gooderer, so I bought an even longer one (100ft) for yet another location, and believe it or not, life IS even more better than when it was gooderer! Here's the deal, I'm sending full 3840 x 2160 at 60Hz, YCbCr 4:4:4 8bit UHD (this is as high as HDMI signal spec goes I believe) and get a full 600mHz per channel or the full 18.2 Gbps bandwidth advertised at the other end. I'm pushing that signal out all day long with any/all audio formats available today and my picture and audio are rock solid. No problems at all. Ever.I've purchased 15m, 20m and 30m lengths and am totally satisfied, my heads no longer bleeding from trying to work with long lengths of copper "high bandwidth" cables that typically topped out at 10.2 Gbps in my testing but 'exaggerated' in their descriptions and hoped to get lucky. In my experience, these guys aren't hoping it works, they know it works, and so do I. A much better solution than those copper cables with repeaters/amplifiers or other tricks to retime the signal. They work sometimes, to a point, if your watching the screen with your left-eye on a tuesday while eating a ham sammy. This is just the right solution for me, it works, no feeling like I'm stretching the techncial capabilities of the product at all.All three cables I bought were packaged solidly, in foam boxes, no chance of them being kinked or otherwise wrecked in shipping. I know they cost a little more than similar length copper, but these work, to me that's well worth it.

It worked for 4K!!!
This was cable number 5 or 6 that I tried in my theatre setup to get 4K video playing with an Xbox One and Apple TV 4K. I am going through interduct to a receiver in a closet and needed a 40-foot cable to reach it. There are a lot of HDMI cables out there that say they will work for full 4k at that distance and I tried a bunch of them without any luck. I finally found this one mentioned in a forum where they were using the projector I have (Optoma UHD51A going to an Onkyo RZ-830), and it works perfectly. Unfortunately it cost 2x-4x as much as the other cables I tried, but in the end, it was worth it to finally find something that works! It is a skinny cable, I was a little worried about pulling it through my interduct, but I didn't have any problems.

highly recommend
After trying several other copper and hybrid cables i finally settled on the Ruipro Fiber HDMI cable and this solved all my signal issues i was having with previous cables. Previous cables where giving me signal drop and white flicker during movies, even though they were "Rated 4k" I am using this with my Panasonic ub820 and Epson 5040ub projector and so far no issue. This came highly recommended from a very respectable Home theater calibrator.

Hopefully future proofed the Home Theater for a few more years...
This cable was necessary to upgrade my Home Theater to a 4K projector recently. The 50ft standard HDMI cable that I had would occasionally loose signal and would not consistently support HDR display. I wish I had installed this cable last year in the first place. Yes it's considerably more expensive than Amazon Basics, but you get what you pay for. This cable is much thinner and easier to route and performs perfectly displaying a full 4K HDR image with no connection issues so far. It was worth it in the long run and hopefully will future proof the Home Theater for at least a few more years to come!

First cable was faulty.
I bought this cable (15m) based on various website recommendations. For testing, I unwound about two meters and tried it between an Amazon Fire TV 4k box and a Samsung 55" UHD TV. At first it was good, but then I noticed some picture disturbance (HDCP snow) and audio clicks. Touching the source end (Fire TV) cable connector made things worse and the picture disappeared for a short time. A normal (cheap, 2m) HDMI cable worked fine - even when moved. So, the cable is being returned for refund. I've ordered another and will update this review very soon. Hopefully this was just a one-off bad cable - but it doesn't bode well for quality control.---- UPDATE ----Second cable arrived and so far seems fine. I ran the same test and no problems were seen at 1080p60 or 4k30. I don't have a 4k60 (18Gbps) source so couldn't test that.Worth noting that the cable did NOT come with any HDMI dust covers - which is vital if you're installing the cable somewhere, which given its length is quite likely. The serial number label fell of the cable, but the general construction seems good.So now up from 2 stars to 4. If I get any issues, I'll update this review again.

Very good performance
I had a tricky route between amplifier and projector of over 11 metres though conduit.Little did I know in the first install how critical cable is to full 4K HDR signals! Not only is mere HD HDMI cable not up to the huge data transmission required, but any sort of extension leads are a no-no because digital copy protection software witchcraft detects the join and actually prevents you watching 4K as they believe you must be trying to breach the copyright - Doh!One unbroken cable has to be used between devices.Research led me to this product as had reliable reviews and wasn’t extreme audiophile exotica expensive but neither suspiciously cheap. The cable being fibre optic means I could ‘pull’ it through the conduit using a pulling string wisely left- in during the build. Note: I used copious globs of cable-pulling lube to aid the process and extra care in taping up the leading end of the new cable to make a nice taper and also ensure pulling forces could not put too much stress on the cable end terminal.Job done and I have 4K HDR 10bit colour from an Amazon fire cube tv box via an Anthem AVR to Epson 4K pixel shift projector- I’m most happy with end result.NB: Had this installed for approx 10 months with no issues at all.

Great for 4K Projector
I’ve now been using this cable for a few weeks and it turns out it’s fine for HD, 4K.But not for HDR 10. It will not pass HDR 10 signal along its 13m length. So this is turned out to be a complete waste of money. It does nothing more than my old cheap HDMI cable I had in when I had an HD projector. HDR eight seems okay, but if you’re using services like Disney+ they don’t seem to support 4K unless you have 4K HDR 10. So it outputs in HD not 4K when using that service with this HDMI cable. NOTE. This cable is a One Direction cable make sure you install it the right way round if hiding behind walls or trunking. One end is for the sauce the other end is for the screen.Install it the wrong way round and it will not work at all

Avoided 4K UHD HDR HDMI connection issues with a UHD65 projector
Before purchasing my first projector I read Av Forums threads on the Optoma UHD65. Time and time again new owners who had issues were straight our told a projector requiring a HDMI cable longer than 30" needed a cable of this quality. It's expensive but I avoided all the heart/head aches so many first time projector owners were having. The cable is simply reliably works, making the expense justified.

Fixed all my hdmi issues
Fixed all my wierd hdmi issues I had between my onkyo txrz-1100 and optoma uhd65. My projector now receives issue free 4k hdr 60hz signals.
