All I hoped for and MORE
I waited 10 years for this book to be released. TEN YEARS!!! Not a single “live” on Facebook or Instagram went on where I didn’t ask Jodi for a Jesse POV snippet. Every year I hoped she would release a new one, never giving up, even though it had been several years since she had last released one. Still, I always asked. Praying. In January 2022 Jodi did a typical live on FB, and of course, at the very end of her live I asked her for another Jesse POV snippet. She saw my question…and called me GREEDY! LOL. I couldn’t stop cracking up. Two weeks later (on Valentine’s Day) she released the most epic news. Jodi had written This Man in Jesse’s POV.A. WHOLE. F****ING. BOOKI was not expecting an entire book, let alone all THREE! After waiting 10 long months, I finally had This Woman on my Kindle. Right at midnight, I started to read This Woman. I WAS HOOKED!!!In all honestly, This Woman is way better than This Man. You see Jesse’s true feelings, everything he is going through. His torture, his torment, but also his love for Ava and all he has lost in his past. This book does NOT DISAPPOINT!! It’s everything I ever could have hoped for from Jodi, but so much more!!! I didn’t want it to end. This book has Jesse explained. PERIOD. If you didn’t particularly like This Man, I urge you to read This Woman. Jesse deserves a second chance from you, and you get it all! You will get HIM.

Truly Mind-blowing!
What a rarity! To be able to get a story told in two ways, two different points of view. Yet, in this case, it’s different and a true gem to be able to experience. Jodi Ellen Malpas has brought back THE man that shook us and continually had our interest piqued. This Woman, Jesse Ward’s point of view, is an extraordinary perspective into the inner-most thoughts of our conflicted, infuriating, yet lovable Alpha. This story offers so much more into what makes him the broken and tattered man that he is. This story reveals his complex feelings for the woman that steals his whole being, Ava O’Shea. Jodi shows us how he truly grapples with his feelings for her. He’s forced to confront issues and feelings that he’s not familiar with. Being able to dive into Jesse this way is most intriguing and so unique. This Woman is really a gift to all that know and love this man and this couple. Jodi has peeled back and exposed them in such a way that is unheard of. These characters are beloved in the romance world; and to experience their story with these new layers is nothing short of remarkable. Bravo to Jodi and her ability to be able to give us so much more of them. This Woman is a literary anomaly of sorts and should not be missed by ANY romance reader.

Holy wow!! A roaring 4 stars!
I loved Jesses’ perspective! I can’t even remember how many years ago I read the original. I started to read it again here along with this one but quickly got caught up while only reading one. His point of view made SO many things make more sense! I only got up to the book where Ava had an accident, I never read it. I wonder if his will go as far? 🤔 Jesse was super immature, I didn’t quite remember that from before but it was glaringly obvious this time around. However it was an emotional immaturity, he’d endured so much pain he seemed to shut off. Ava was a bit harsh. Her flipping and flopping were “sending me crazy” 🤪 totally forgot about that too! I listened to this as well and Shane East almost always does my fav British voices, Jodi Ellen Malpas chooses him a lot too which is a good thing. He really took this to the next level with his gritty pain and emotions. This was more like a spoken tv drama than a narration and I loved every minute of it. I’ve never “read” listened to a book chock full of emotions like this before. A first for me. All in all, I really enjoyed myself and can’t wait to recall what happens next from his perspective!

The original story told by Jesse
Jesse is a complex character. I’ve loved the original series for years and loved reading the story from Jesse’s POV.But I must admit I’m glad I got to know Jesse through Ava’s eyes first

Angsty at its best
I didn’t read The Man, the series from Ava’s point of view. But I started the series with This Woman from Jesse’s point of view, and I am happy I did! I LOVE that he loves her with deep intensity, and that she makes him want to be better. He is scared to lose her because of his past, and it makes him stubborn.I’m all in for this wild ride of Jesse & Ava!!!

Heart broken again.
I knew this story coming into it. And knew it was going to break my heart near the end. But I had no idea it would be this eye opening into Jesse. It's so sad, so wonderful, so beautiful, and so very much more tortured then I imagined. Life was just cruel to Jesse from the get go wasn't it? I admit I almost hated Jesse when I first read This Man years ago, what a ego, and so controlling, I would run too. But we learn to love this trampling menace. This book explains so much more of the why then the original. I had to take it slower in the last 10 or so chapters, didn't want it to end cause I knew what was coming and I dreaded it. Well I finally finished and I'm even more heart broken over Jesse and just how much he really needed Ava, not just loved her. In a sick codependent kind of way, haha. Now I'm left here in the realization that I won't get to read how hard this next struggle was on Jesse for almost another year!!!!! Oh Jodi.... can't you release the next book any sooner?? I'm dying here!!! ❤️

Ticked all my boxes
Do I have the words that will do This Woman justice, can I put words on paper as to how I felt through this wonderful read… I’m not sure but I’m going to give it a go. The man who stole my heart and was my first book boyfriend when I came back to reading 10 years ago is back and this time we really get in Jesse Ward’s mind and boy does he have a mind you want and need to get into. I was drawn in from the first page and I had a sleepless night because I was kept on the edge of my seat and there was no putting down as I watched Jesse and Ava connect once again but this time in his POV.Shane East did a wonderful job bring Jesse and his journey to life. He was spot on with the emotion, the passion and the love but more importantly I could close my eyes and imagine Jesse Ward. This Woman made me feel like I was meeting Jesse for the first time and I fell in love with him all over again as I watched him fall hard and fast for Ava, as I watched struggle with love and as I watched him show us how vulnerable he can be.That’s all your getting from me because I believe you need to read this book with no preconceived ideas, you need to read it first hand and experience the Lord for yourself. What I will say is I can’t wait for what’s to come from the very talented Jodi Ellen Malpas because she has given me a man I love from a very different prospective and she has me me falling all over again. Excited and looking forward to to what’s coming next.

The Woman
