I have installed this in my Isuzu D-Max pickup with a Pioneer AVICF70DAB head unit and it works a treat! I was a bit sceptical as most of the other wireless CarPlay adapters are twice the price or more, but my fears were unfounded, this wee dongle works perfectly!You plug it in, select Bluetooth settings on your iPhone and pair with the dongle. Once paired a message comes up "Use device with CarPlay?", select yes and you're connected, simple as that. The setup procedure is a one time process, after that it just connects every time you start the car. If you don't have your phone with you then you see the screen shown in the third photo, you just hit the home button on your head unit and it all works as normal.The only caveat is that CarPlay becomes the default screen and will switch back to it randomly, however this only happens once or twice then the screen will remain on the page you are on (in my case I like the DAB radio screen). This isn't the fault of the dongle, it appears to be a wireless CarPlay thing.Note that this is for CarPlay only, it won't work with Android Auto, and your head unit or built-in media unit must support wired CarPlay in the first place. I would strongly recommend this dongle to enable wireless CarPlay, I've been using it for a couple of weeks now with no issues, it just works!

The communication from the seller was excellent.They emailed me detailed instructions (with explanations) before the unit arrived.I was a bit worried that it might not work as my vehicle wasn't listed, however it works perfectly.Follow the instructions (which also explains why one needs to have Wi-Fi and Bluetooth both active).It paired straight away and started working without any further intervention.Every time it starts, it shows a CarPlay logo with a black background on the screen in your car for about 15 seconds whilst loading and then it brings up CarPlay.It works smoothly, scrolls nicely and works exactly the same as my wired CarPlay.NOTE:They do point out that it only works with Apple and not Android, so bear that in mind.When connecting for the first time, ensure that your Wi-Fi is not connected to any other Wi-Fi that may be near.Every time you get in the car, it will connect automatically, and it will always take a few seconds to load.Bluetooth and Wi-Fi must always be enabled on your phone.If you open another screen CarPlay will disappear, but it will reappear after about 20 secondsAll in all, a painless installation and a great purchase.

Product was alright, probably would’ve worked if my car supported CarPlay. The Bluetooth was working however there was also wifi but no password was given in the manual. Spelling mistakes and english was quite off and somewhat confusing but its still okay.

For the past few months, I have been thoroughly enjoying the convenience of CarPlay in my new car. The only drawback I encountered was the need to take my iPhone out of my pocket , connect it, and remember to disconnect it before leaving the car to avoid any potential issues. However, since I started using this dongle, those concerns have vanished completely. The initial setup was quick and simple, and now it automatically and consistently connects without any effort on my part. Occasionally, it may take around 45-50 seconds to establish the connection, which is comparable to the time it took to retrieve my phone from my bag and connect it previously. On the bright side, I now save a significant amount of time when I reach my destination, as the dongle disconnects instantly and automatically. Additionally, I no longer worry about accidentally leaving my phone behind and the possibility of break-ins. It's an incredibly convenient accessory to have!

Used smoothly for 3 months on my VW Jetta 2017. Then i checked software update as it is recommended on manual book. After software is done it is not working at all. I am receiving this black screen constantly. Tried to reach out seller but all i have is generic responses. I will update here if my issue is resolved. For now , I wouldn’t recommend to buy this product.

It does the job most of the time but 1 out of 10 times it just doesn't work - everything is connected on the phone (wifi and bluetooth) but carplay doesn't start. When it works it's good, just annoying when it doesn't (and to fix it I have to do a factory reset on the device). Fortunately, it's cheap.

Bought after watching YouTube video review of several types. Quick start up was the main thing for me. However just after the returns period expired the startup time has been getting longer and longer and now it freezes on the start screen for the device. Hopefully this is not typical behaviour, needless to say I have reverted back to the original cable I was using.

I'm a firm believer in having a simple life. I just want to get in my car and everything to just work. its keyless so the key stays in my bag, my phone stays in my bag and connects via Bluetooth but if I want carplay to work, I was forced to go into the bag, get my phone, grab a cable and plug it in. Just annoying so guess what, carplay never got used.We this thing has transformed it. now I just get carplay when I turn my car on. No cables or anything.So this plugs into the USB, Pairing was simple and worked first time. Even better all of this is only needed to be done once. Every time after its just turn the car on and a few seconds later carplay is available.Its not laggy, and i now have full access to my phone whilst driving and can use my head unit as a big phone screen.Very happy with this and wish I had bought one sooner.

Prodotto cercato ed acquistato perché stanco di dover sempre collegare il telefono al cavo per poter usufruire del carplay, cavi che con l'andare del tempo e con il calore si rovinavano sempre, cosi ho optato per questo tipo di dispositivo, e devo dire che non me ne sono pentito! Anzi lo sto trovando utilissimo. Adoro il fatto che quando salgo e scendo dalla macchina non ho minimamente bisogno di dover staccare/attaccare il telefono ogni volta, ora ho sempre il telefono in tasca senza problemi e posso usare tutte le funzioni di cui ho bisogno quando guido.Il packaging è molto minimalista, all'interno troviamo:- il dispositivo;- un adattatore usb/usb-c.L'istallazione è molto semplice, basta collegare il dispositivo alla porta usb; accendere il Bluetooth, ricercare il dispositivo, fare l'abbinamento ed il gioco è fatto; il tutto si fa in meno di un minuto. Da ora in poi appena si accende l'auto, e si ha il bluetooth accesso, il telefono si collega immediatamente.Io ho un iphone 13 ed ho istallato il dispositivo su una Ford e funziona tutto molto bene; ho provato le chiamate, la riproduzione di musica tramite spotify ed il navigatore e il tutto ha funzionato senza problemi al momento.Ho apprezzato molto il venditore che manda una mail con tutte le indicazioni per l'istallazione del dispositivo.Il rapporto qualità/prezzo lo trovo giusto, personalmente la comodità che mi offre vale la spesa sostenuta.

Es imprescindible para conectar tu móvil al coche, si tú modelo no lo trae de forma nativa, porque si conectas con cable tu iPhone continuamente te cargarás la batería en poco tiempo.El funcionamiento es muy sencillo, simplemente enchufas al USB y enlaza a través de Bluetooth para que aparezca directamente el CarPlay en la pantalla. A mi me daba problemas en las llamadas y lo solucioné eliminando la conexión Bluetooth directa del manos libres al coche. Ahora funciona todo a través del CarPlayNo tiene ningún la funciona fluido y no hay ninguna diferencia entre conectarlo por cable o a través de el dispositivo.Muy recomendable
