Cangshan Sanford Series 1027051 German Steel 17-Piece Knife Block Set

Beautiful set of knives. Who ever uploaded the pictures of these knives, did not do them the honor they deserved. I almost didn't order them, and once I ordered them, I also almost returned them, thinking they weren't enough knives for me. The pictures they have on Amazon, are missing the bread knife and, there's another knife that seems like the front part is cut off on purpose. I thought it was weird that they had those crazy looking knives as part of the set and almost returned them without opening them but I went ahead and opened them out of curiosity and to my surprise, they actually had the bread knife included and the other knife that seemed to be missing part of it was there and in full size. They look amazing, the feel is great, they seem sturdy and look like they'll last a long time. Each knife is made out of one piece each. Super sharp. I'm glad I ordered these knives instead of Henckels, much better look and quality. I ordered a couple of Henckels sets to see and try but was disappointed on the look and quality. For about the same price, I got me a very nice set of knives.

These are the sharpest knives I have ever used. I love the clean look and the nice wooden block. These seem like they are going to last me a very long time. I would highly recommend them.

Right away you can tell this knife set is far superior to anything you can purchase from a box store. Nicely weighted, well made and super sharp. We always wash and dry them by hand. Certainly more expensive options on the market but for the price this set is outstanding. Highly recommend.

Quite pleased with this Cangshan Knife set! Delivery was prompt & well packaged. Spouse said she was peasanly surprised that they were nicer than she had thought they would be. Extremely sharp, carved a standing rib-roast with ease. Takes their place attractively alongside counter appliances.

The knife block is well built and nice looking. I have used the knives but have only had the set for about a week. The steak knives cut nicely and just sharp enough. I was expecting the other knives to be real sharp but they are good, not overly sharp. They do they job as for what they are intended to due, I hope that they won’t need sharpening until after much use.The price was good and the quality appears good so far.

After dozens of years of buying big box store knife block sets, and the same amount of years being disappointed, we upped our game and paid the extra for this 17 piece set. WOW!! Razor sharp, very durable and really comfortable in your hand. (I thank a previous reviewer who spoke of her chef son-in-law and his remarks on the comfort and ease of use). I don't think we could be any happier with a knife.And they say a knife's not really yours until you cut yourself with it. Myself and the wife did that in the first week. Sooooo sharp! If you get these, be extra careful until your familiar with them. OH, and do get them. You won't be disappointed.

This set comes with a beautiful wood rack. The knives are beautiful to look at and work well. Very satisfied.
