We have a 16 year old long haired kitty who has always had beautiful, long, well-groomed fur. As she has gotten older it’s gotten harder and harder for her to do her own grooming, and she hates to be brushed - as a result she developed numerous “turkey feathers” (mats). I decided to shave her vs try to hand cut them all out (there were a LOT, and trying to hold a squirming cat while trimming giant mats from under armpits and belly while wielding sharp scissors sounded like a recipe for disaster). I wanted something quiet that stayed cool to the touch, was cordless, rechargeable, and actually effective. Other cheap clippers I’ve tried in the past didn’t work all that well. But THESE…oh…these cut through mats like butter!These clippers are fantastic! They are very quiet, and didn’t scare our kitty. They only have one speed, but they have multiple guards for different lengths. The single speed is just fine, it worked great all over her and didn’t feel too slow or fast. The ceramic blade meant that the clippers stayed cool to the touch even during long grooming sessions (I’m not a pro so it took me a while to get her whole body given the number of serious mats I had to contend with). The charge lasts about 2 hours, and it recharges quickly. The clippers themselves are small and lightweight, so were comfortable for me to use. The clippers went through seriously dense/thick mats with no problem once I got the hang of how to properly do it (I stuck a comb through the bottom of the mat closest to her skin and then used the clippers to shave the mat off above the comb so as not to cut her skin by accident). Our girl now has a stylish lion cut and seems so much happier now that the mats aren’t pulling on her skin like they had been. I can’t believe how amazing these little clippers are for the price - I’m very pleased with my purchase and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking for pet clippers.

Performance, ease of cutting, portability, quiet, comfort

I have a Great Pyrenees, he was due a yearly trimming, brushing will only get you so far. This trmmier was easy to handle, didn’t need the attachment to keep an even trim. It’s quiet, light and powerful. I’m so glad I choose this one!

This shaver worked great on my super matted cat!! My poor cat has a neurological problem and can notclean herself properly and sometimes wets herself--so the poor thing smells sometimes. She is a verylong hair cat, so I have been bathing her every few days. Well all those baths got her very very matted.I bought this to cut the mats out and ended up stripping her totally. She seems so much happier as shehas no more mats pulling on her skin. This was easy to use and amazingly quiet--great product at a greatprice.

We’re great while they lasted. Used these in the vet field and they were a hit! Nice and quiet for cats and dogs. Clips nicely and close to the skin. Great for IV catheter shaving, shaving for procedures and such. The attachments that come with work great for getting in between the toes.

I have been grooming my English Cocker Spaniel (ECS) myself since my groomer shut down for COVID in 2020. I have a set of plug in Andis clippers and they're great for clipping the majority of my dog. However, trimming around his ear openings, legs, and feet is a nightmare for this amateur groomer. My clippers are too big and bulky so I had to trim these areas with scissors. My vet told me about these little rechargeable clippers. She said her techs really like them for 'clean up' trims and some surgery preps. I found them on Amazon and ordered a set with a regular blade and a toe blade. My ECS was due a groom so I put these clippers to work shortly after they arrived. This clipper is light, easy to maneuver, and quieter than my Andis clippers. I could easily maneuver them around my ECS's ear openings. The toe blade was a godsend for trimming the hair between his paw pads. I was able to trim my ECS's legs with less effort and he seemed less stressed. For trimming his legs I used one of the snap on combs. The comb tended to get caught in the hair if I tried to go too fast. This little clipper eliminated nearly all of the scissor work I usually have to do when I groom my ECS. These little clippers are definitely not meant to be a primary grooming tool but they are great for delicate trims and clean ups.

This little clipper is just what I was hoping for- I wanted something small and quiet to clip mats from behind my dog’s ears. She does not mind them at all and it is so much safer than using scissors. The charge lasts a long time and I especially like the narrow blade. I wasn’t expecting a whole lot because the price is low so I am more than satisfied with these handy little clippers.

OMG, this clipper amazed me. I have an Aussie with a spinal cord injury and I started doing his grooming myself after his injury because he can't stand for very long. This clipper was easier to use and worked better than my Oster professional clippers! It goes thru mats like butter; I've learned not to push it thru his fur too quickly, go slowly so that it doesn't pull on his hair before cutting completely thru. Once, it started getting sluggish after only about 5 minutes so I used the included brush on the clipper blade, removed the blade and brushed out the hair that was inside the body as well, put the blade back on and it worked perfectly again. I used the clippers for over an hour on him and the battery never pooped out. Being cordless is so nice as I can clip him anywhere, which is typically in the backyard, without needing an extension cord. I haven't tried the included combs yet. I highly recommend this product!

It shaves well and it’s nice and quiet, so it doesn’t freak out my cat as much. I’m a fan!
