I bought this and A1 for my daughter when she rolled her ankle after a netball game. She mostly used the A2 in the initial stage of recovery. She prefers the A1 for the training and games as it's less bulky, but would use the A2 with no complaints if the A1 is in the wash. We have the tapes as well but she much prefer the ankle brace as it's a so much quicker process to wear.
