The King Khan: Shahrukh Khan - 8 Movie Set

Simply put, this is the best money we've ever spent on movies. Mr. Khan is quite possibly the most gifted entertainer ever to appear on screen, and this collection shows the breathtaking range of his artistry and skill. Complemented with a host of other extraordinary actors in a variety of films, this collection provides hours and hours (this is Bollywood, after all) filled to the brim with laughter and tears, happiness and sadness, joy and despair, failure and redemption, always with depth and dignified values. There are also some stunning cinematography scenes in these films, of beautiful architecture and sweeping landscapes.Technically, the video quality is excellent throughout, discs play well, menus work, English subtitles are seamless and very well done.Unhesitatingly recommended!

This used set of DVDs came in great condition and play perfectly.

Couldn't be more pleased. Very good quality. Excellent selection and I received a bonus DVD," Jab Tak Hai Jaan ".I ordered with English subtitles and each disc had at least 3 language choices.I love SRK and Bollywood movies!!!!

This set does another job as it spans a period of rapid growth and maturity in quality of the film productions. The early 90's films feel like mid-60's western cinema, and less that 10 years later the movies rise sharply to nearly current standards. SRK also ages quite a lot in 15 years, but the range of his characters is good, and his mannerisms while often childish and obnoxious, also rise to every occasion, whether he's playing the villain or hero.There is not much supporting material on these discs, the subtitle work is fair but is scant on the musical numbers and at times the translations are a little clunky or misspelled. This is a great set overall and has several titles not available through Netflix.

This collection is very well put together. I'm not a fan of "Darr", even though critics like it, just because it has Shahrukh playing a psychopath....rather convincingly. Overall i think it's a fantastic SRK collection!

This is a great collection of some of his best movies - can't say enough about the quality of these movies and the wonderful stories and wquality acting.

Arrived on time. Three out of eight dvd's scratched, skipping. Very disappointed.
