iCarsoftMBII for Mercedes Benz, Reads and Clears Trouble Codes, EPB,SAS, ETC Reset

I bought this to clear the AC compressor fault code so i can turn it on and refill with refrigerant. Works great! This device down in my photos can also register my car battery so i can buy and install my own battery and register it with the car computer.First thing i did though was to connect the usb type C cable it came with to my laptop and i downloaded the appropriate icarsoft software to update firmware and patch the device to latest software. Easy to use

I recently picked up a used ml63 and I knew I would need something to diagnose with. I had already ran into some strange issues the first month of ownership like a bad alarm siren malfunctioning and waking me up at 3am and not being able to disable it. My bluetooth obd scanner I had didn't even read the ECU in the car. I just received this unit and I can already tell its going to be very useful. It doesn't have the biggest screen or maybe isn't the most modern, but for the price it gives you a ton of information that I would not have access to. I was surprised at how it can pull in 46 different modules and how detailed the information can be. I've chased problems in the past thinking it was one thing on other cars and waste money replacing the wrong parts. I have a airmatic suspension light that comes on every once and a while and I was already able to see it relating to a speed sensor. Not something I would think could be causing a fault. If you are a Benz owner, you can save a bunch of money with this device. Great tool so far in the first day of having it.

The product is somewhat easy to use if you are good with technology. No instructions came with the scanner.For Mercedes vehicles, you have to use the Benz option and for other vehicles, you use the OBDII option. It doesn't give the option to clear ALL codes you have to select the actual problem to clear it so if you are not car-savvy it can take some time.I have a 2018 Mercedes C 300 and it does not have full capabilities like the scanner at the shop and can not clear certain codes. I had to reset my blind spot monitors after installing new ones and I had to bring it into the shop for a reset that cost me $150.Overall, in my opinion find a better scanner that can do it all.

DO NOT order one from AWEGOO unless you want a scanner that has been opened and has a lot of grubby fingerprints all over it.

Works great but mine has a code for a mass air sensor that is good. Otherwise Works great clears codes reads falt codes

I purchased this to work on a 2008 Rclass 320 CDI. The car has been great, but it, like all cars has some maintenance issues. I am a backyard mechanic. I know how to complete small repairs, but haven't torn apart a motor and I am not up to date on all the terminology. However, I was able to plug this in and read the codes in under 5 minutes. The codes are very descriptive and tell you exactly what needs to be checked or replaced. At $150 ots not a bad investment. These Mercedes can be expensive to work on and it just saved me twice the cost not having to replace parts that may or may not be the problem.The device itself is well built and came with an mini SD card, card reader, USB cable for updating and a cable to connect the device to your obd2 port. If you can't find the SD it's been pre installed in the device. Buttons are very responsive and the device itself runs fast. I can see a dealership using this device. Well worth the investment for a Mercedes owner as the last time I have my car scanned it cost $160 dollars.

Additional info — I returned this product. It turns out that the dpf regeneration function does not work on the 2007 e320 and, based on other posts, certain other diesel models. Customer support confirmed and suggests that another (cheaper) model will (or may) work. I think I will try another brand.Initial reaction — Very inexpensive, convenient, and fast. Seems to cover all systems (wrong) and dtcs for 2007 merc. Lacks the repair/troubleshooting tips of star das but that is generally available on line anyway. I prefer this over das most of the time because of ease of use and speed.
