Galleria Hautman Brothers Hummingbirds Auto Stick Umbrella (Hummingbirds)

I had purchased this same umbrella during a cruise to Alaska, I was so upset when I lost it, 6 years later. I looked up the shop I purchased it from and although they didn't sell them online from the shop, they did list the manufacturer. Delighted that I once again have my hummingbird umbrella. I also ordered another design to carry on my bag. Love these!! I always get so many compliments on them.

This is a beautiful well made umbrella. I bought my sister one a few years ago as she loves "Hummers". She was so sad when she broke hers getting it caught in closing car door. It took me a while to find another like it. My sister was ecstatic. Thank you Amazon for having such a variety of goods.

Why one star? I was so excited to find this umbrella. I love hummingbirds. I open up the package, and the metal tab that holds the umbrella to the stalk won't come up out of the stalk. In other words, you can't keep the umbrella closed without wrapping the fabric fastener around the outside of it. Not wrapped, wham, instant open. I'm so disappointed. I'm debating ordering another one, but I have to wonder about the manufacturer's quality control.

This Hummingbird umbrella is so pretty, a gorgeous mix of blues and greens. I like that it pops open easily, but it still needs to be retracted manually.
