Good summer weight top quilt
I wanted a light top quilt for hammock camping in the summer. This is almost perfect for a 50-60 degree type top quilt for a hammock; probably not so much for ground as it lacks functional pad attachments. Stitching is fine. I can't prove that its 700 fill but its got acceptable loft and packs down quite small. The footbox closes sufficiently for warm nights. I've used it on nights in the low 60s in just skivvies and its plenty warm without being overkill. One could probably push into the mid 50s okay but definitely not below that. That's what I wanted so I'm happy with it.There are some things I would change if I could. The footbox closes with a drawstring plus three snaps which is fine. I did kick the snaps open one night tossing around but drawstring stayed closed and it was warm enough out it didn't matter. There are three snaps at the neck end. This seems unnecessary. My high-end 20deg quilt only has one snap at the top and that's all that's needed but two extra doesn't hurt much. There is no draw chord at the top, but again, this isn't for cold weather so its not needed and I wouldn't want one. The loops in the corners aren't necessary and I don't know why they're there. Maybe they're supposed to be for pad attachment? I just cut them off.All in all, this is a good warm weather top quilt for a hammock or just blanket type cover. I wouldn't try to push its limits or anything and its definitely not in the same product category as a US cottage manufacturer type top quilt, but then again its 1/4 the price. For a summer quilt I think it was a good buy.cheers.

Great quilt for the money
I wanted something smaller for nicer weather trips without spending a ton and this was exactly what I wanted. If you're considering trying a quilt instead of a sleeping bag do it. For this price give it a try. I didn't think I was going to love it as much as I do.

Really warm and comfortable, but beware of allergies
The quilt itself is great, I love the optional footbox and it’s the perfect temperature for New England summer treks. I had to stop using it because of an extreme allergic reaction to the dust mites in the down, however.

Pleasantly surprised - recommended and useful
Minus one star for the bag - functional but the bag is snug and may tear with use. The down blanket gets 5 stars overall value and functionality. This thing can function as sleeping bag, top quilt, bottom quilt, blanket, stadium throw etc. A drawstring foot box and enclosure snaps and corner loops good down to 40F all for just over $40. Was hard to get out of the bag neatly folded and rolled - it compresses well so much better to just start stuffing it in the bag as it pulls out easier this way. I was hesitant but overall I’m very happy with this purchase.

Thin but warm
I ordered this quilt to take on a recent backpacking trip this past April. I was looking for something that weighed less than my current sleeping bag, but would still keep warm. It was going to be getting down to the low 40s at night, and after receiving the quilt I was a little skeptical on how it would keep me as it was so thin (it did fluff up nicely after let it decompress). The first night I believe got down to 42 and I had to pull out the thin fleece blanket I had brought to go over the top of the quilt. Second night got down to 47 and the quilt alone kept me warm. I was also sleeping in light thermals and our sleeping pad was insulated so I'm sure the combination of all of that helped out. Definitely recommend if temps are going to be above 45. Any lower and you'll definitely want to pair it with a fleece liner or blanket. Overall, I am very happy with my purchase.

Blanket
I like this blanket, like how it snaps around and can keep wind and moisture out. I would say it’s for just cooler weather, think if weather was cold out, I personally would need a heavier blanket. But for what I have used so far, softball it has worked wonderful for this time of year.

Performs as advertised
This blanket is very light weight, extremely warm and a pleasure to use. The warmth is without bulk, easy to store and takes up little space. Highly recommend!
