Our cat decided she wanted to escape from our fenced backyard. She began digging under our wooden fence. We purchased the dig defense fencing to stop her from digging. It was fairly easy to pound into the ground and was the correct height and length for our needs. It is a fairly sturdy steel and has stopped her from escaping. I’m happy with this purchase.

I was a little skeptical of the quality when I ordered this, since the price was decent. However, I cannot be more pleased to be wrong. This is made with very good, heavy metal and functioned exactly for what I intended it for. I’ve had a skunk problem digging under the porch every year and needed the simplest solution. This solved that problem. It took me less than 10 minutes to install, was the perfect size, and boy is it strong. The next few months I saw that there were disturbed soil and signs that the pest tried to dig in again but this fence stopped them from getting through. The icing on the cake is its aesthetic appeal which does not look cheap. No signs of rust through heavy rain and light snow so far.

It was a great product but when I was pounding in the ground with a rubber mallet some of the metal prongs fell off. Useful for small dogs under 25lbs.

We started purchasing these as one of our little dogs (terrier mix) escapes our yard. Our new Kentucky Board Fence is no match for him! The fence company recommended these as a way to block him. Everywhere I place them (pound into ground and attach them with zip ties to to the fence) works great. We have a very large yard but box by box I’m getting the fence reinforced. They work great, however, the little dog makes new escape routes. Hoping I can get everything buttoned up before I run out of money. lol. I highly recommend!!

These did the trick!! My little Australian Kelpie was digging her way out within 5 minutes. I dug a small trench and placed chicken wire under gravel and heavy rocks. She continued to get out. After a month of this, I ordered the "barrier" gates and am happy to report, perfection! She continues to attempt escapes daily -- rocks and gravel strewn about -- but these barriers prevent her from getting through. Thank you so much for this design! P.S. You do need a mallet to insert into the ground.

It does the job IF the prongs don’t break when your hammer them into the ground. I had prongs break off from 5 out of 10 panels.

Well made and easy to install. I’m happy with this purchase.
