I really wasn't looking for a big beefy wharncliffe knife, but the price on this knife was very low and i love my other CJRB knives in AR-RPM9 steel. I have the Tigris in 3 different colors ways because i love it so much. Its awesome flat grind is very slicy and zips through everything i cut with near zero resistance. While the Tigris is huge this Ruffian is petite by comparison. It has similar straight edge and full flat grind but the blade is much smaller and the blade stock is much thinner. So it slices even easier through just about any material. It has many if the same advantage of the Tigris in a low profile package. The knife scales are very thin as is the blade so it takes very little real estate in your pocket. The detent is very strong so if you flick the blade out with your middle finger the blade flies out quickly on the ball bearing pivot once you overcome that stiff detent. The only thing i do not like is the frame lock. Its very strong (hence the tight detent) and since the knife is so thin the space between the two scales is hard to access with my thumb. I wish they made this knife in a button lock or cross bar lock, but its not impossible and will probably get easier as the knife breaks in. Review: Liner lock needs improvement, otherwise awesome knife! - This is a sharp looking knife. I really love the purple scales. The blade is very sharp out of the box. It can easily be reverse flicked open. The only problem I have with this knife is the liner lock. My finger gets pinched between the scales and the lock when I close the knife sometimes. Other than that, I think this is a really nice knife and I got a great deal on it. Pick one up and try it for yourself.

What a cool little knife
This knife has been kicked around my Amazon shopping list for a while and I really dragged my feet because it looked like a big brute of a knife in the photos. Good value and great looking
I typically live in the 75 to 150 range on pocket knives but some of these budget models are too good to pass up. This knife definitely belongs in that category. Very lightweight, smaller profile, 4 position pocket clip, a really nice blade shape with lots of jimping and rpm-9 steel make it great for utility cuts. The pocket clip is ok and sits flush with the handle so it's easy in and out of the pocket. You can open and close with 1 hand easily. The G10 scales are grippy enough without being gritty like some knives. The action is very good out of the box as is the sharpness. There is also a lanyard hole in the back spacer. It doesn't feel premium, which is fine in this price range. I can slow roll with my thumb, flick with my thumb( though not that easily) and reverse/ Spidey flick which I feel is what the design asks for. Lastly 1 possible issue, I have average sized hands and I can get a decent 3½ finger grip, larger hands might have more trouble. I think this knife is totally worth the price.

Wicked Sharp Design
This blade design out performed my other blade styles in my testing and it looks cool on top of that. Everything about the knife feels quality and the blade is wicked sharp out of the box. I was dubious about Chinese knives but I'm impressed by the quality and I like Dirks Blade designs. The only negative if I had to come up with one is the handle material around where the lock is and your finger goes is kind of thin.

This knife is Amazing!
I am a huge knife collector and I started out buying 400$-200$ EDC pocket knives. I have recently been looking for 50$ and under and this knife is so worth the price. I’m a huge fan of warnclife style blades, and great in hand ergos this knife has everything you want. Sharp out of box, great profile and slim in pocket. I recommend this knife over and over. Go buy one!

Angular, Effective Box Eradicator
I like the purple G-10 with complimentary red anodized pivot collar. The blade is wickedly sharp, although I can deploy it safely only with a slow thumb roll, my spidey-flick skills being ineffective with this particular blade detent. The satin blade is beautiful, and it’s a great utility slicer.

Sharp!
Sharp out of the box, rugged, durable, not the most premium materiala or blade metal but for the dollar value it is fantastic!

Great small knife
Comes sharp from box. Incredible Dirk Pinkerton designed knife. Opens with thumb or a reverse flick from finger. Fits in the zipper pouch of my Viperade VE1 along with some Leatherman bits.
