I chose this because of the railing and large size since I was installing it up high and wanted to feel my kitty was safe stepping down/off from a niche over a cabinet. Since it was the last perch to be installed and I had experience with my wall and the other perches, I replaced the hardware and drilled two additional holes, for security. It is near a corner and on a stud, so I only used one metal Molley fastener in the middle hole: it's not going anywhere and I'm happy. My kitty has been wanting to get up to this top area for days while I finished; it took me a while and a few trips to Lowes to feel satisfied with the length and type of screws. I don't have the best equipment, but enough to get the job done. I used my electric screwdriver to drill pilot holes in studs (a must). I also did research online about screws, which helped. Functionality , 5 stars.Wood Quality, 2 starsI'm not sure there's a single plank that doesn't have the wood stitch. Wood grains going in all directions.so we'll be painting it. It and the 2 others we purchased at the same time...I've no doubt it'll last, but irks me every time I walk past it lmao. Gotta paint it soon

My cats haven't taken to this yet. Mounting it was a nightmare--I had to use my own drywall mounting screws. The mat that's supposed to sit on top is too big and won't fit on the perch.

The feeder was easy to assemble and very sturdy. My cat used it right away and has been great to get her food off the floor with wondering toddlers around. My only complaint was the anchors supplied with the product where not sturdy enough to support the weight of the feeder, I tired both! It is heavy… which is good and I know will last a long time. But definitely plan on buying some sturdier wall anchors if you don’t have studs to drill into. Overall I would definitely buy it again and I am happy with the purchase.

I was skeptical. It arrived quickly. The direction were hard to read. It assembled easy. Well built. Long bolts makes it sturdy. Once we put the cats on it they seem to enjoy it.

I really like this stand for our cat. we can keep his food away from the dogs and it's a perfect fit for a 10 pound cat.

Needed to keep cat food away from puppy. Was not able to mount it to our walls without sticking out and looking stupid or running into it. We actually hooked it to her kennel so we can move it around. Works great. Puppy can't reach.

The media could not be loaded.  Very easy to install and it’s very stable and sturdy. Holds a lot of weight. She was terrified to walk across the bridge so I put down some cushion and she loves it.
