As advertised. I really enjoyed the quality and attention to detail. Flawless.

I bought this to replace my $400.00 fly rod that was stolen from my house. Didn't want to spend a ton of money on a new rod, and found this kit that included the reel. Since my reel was 20 years old, I figured I'd update everything. Nice rod and nice reel. Bonus that it comes with everything you need, except for the flies of course. Both the rod and the reel are high quality, as is the line. Already spooled on the reel with backer, saving me the trouble. I'm happy with the purchase and may buy a second kit for my wife. Good value for the price and what you get. Very satisfied.

I bought this rod kit in Juneof 2022 after reading alot of reviews. I bought the path in a 6 weight and it was alittle too heavy for trout. This 5 weight rod is great, I like the fact that it comes with high end line and a really good metal reel. The case it comes in is also good to have to protect from accidents. I would definitely buy this kit again.

After submitting my poor review, I found out my son may have weakened the tip section while taking it through the front door. Not sure what exactly happened, but I cant blame the mfr on this one.

Nice set up but the rod is a bit stiff for a 5 weight. Reel is okay.

Rod broke after the 2nd time of use. Tip just snapped off.
