Does the job
Perfect for those who love puzzles. Just need to get an iron to flatten it!

Big enough for 3000pcs
I bought this puzzle mat to provide a base for a 2000pc jigsaw I have - the previous mat I've used is fine for 1500pcs, but slightly the wrong shape for the 2000pc puzzle. Delighted to see that this mat will also be big enough for the typical size of 3000pc puzzles ....whenever I feel brave enough! Only gave 4 stars as I've struggled to flatten the creases in the cloth, despite following instructions to use a warm iron. But I can live with that...Now that I've completed the 2000pc puzzle I can confirm that it fits comfortably on the mat - a slightly different shape to the 2000pc markers, but well inside the 3000pc outline. A handy tip for (hopefully) flattening the creases is to store the mat rolled up around the inflatable core which, incidentally, was very easy to inflate using the supplied pump. Another tip I'd recommend after completing a brand new jigsaw is to vacuum the puzzle mat before putting it away; as is typical with new puzzles, there were a lot of dust particles left behind from the backing of the puzzle pieces, and the material that the mat is made from tends to hold on to these bits. Not a big issue, but could be irritating when you next get the puzzle mat out to start assembling a new jigsaw.

Necessary for large jigsaws
I have accumulated quite a few 1000,2000 and 3000 pieces jigsaw puzzles over the past few years, given to me as gifts and unwanted gifts from someone. I received this mat today, looks just the job, does everything the instructions says and easy to store the jigsaw away when you're busy doing other stuff.

Brilliant idea
Got for my daughter who loves puzzles. Great that you can roll it up when finished for the time being and then unroll when you have more time. No complaints about lack of table space etc.

This was very hard to roll and not very good at keeping pieces together

Terrible idea it just doesnt work
I should have returned this however the cat ended up being sick on it so it went in the bin! I tried 3 different jigsaws to see if they would stick like it shows in the advert however they all just fell off! There is noway this would do the job it claims. It's just a large piece of felt with a tubular balloon that slowly went down over a week! And no the cat didn't get near that part! Very disappointed and didn't get to use it for our caravan break. NOT worth the MONEY! Even if it did what it claims it shouldn't be any more then £5 there's nothing to it but a sheet too smooth felt, a balloon that doesn't stay up and 4 bits of felt with poppers to make into bowls to sort the peices. For a 1000 piece jigsaw like it claims they're are also not even big enough to keep all your bits in when your sorting. Big fat disappointment!
