Mixed results. In 2014, I had purchased another 50 mile amped flat antenna, branded Amazon, so I was already aware of what stations I expected to pick up with this. I moved that antenna into another interior room, and placed this antenna in the living room, on the exact same window where the Amazon antenna had resided for years.Sadly, this one received fewer stations in the same spot, for whatever reason.On a hunch, I removed the optional amplifier, and replaced it with a clunky aftermarket Radio Shack UHF/VHF amp that I purchased about 20 years ago. It's ugly, big as half a brick, and hadn't been used in years. I don't even know why I had kept it in my A/V supply box, as it never seemed to do anything back when I originally purchased it. However, for whatever reason, that old amp seems to have "fixed" this antenna, and it now clearly receives the same channels that the Amazon brand antenna it replaced had received.So what does this mean about my opinion of this product? I'm not sure. I know OTA reception is a finicky beast to begin with. And I did get it working eventually. So, it's probably worth a shot at its price point.I know that this review is somewhat noncommittal, but I hope it helps you a bit. The takeaway is: If it's not working as well as you'd hoped, try playing with it a bit; move it around. Re-orient it. Disconnect the optional amp.Good luck.

Was excited to think that I wasn’t tied to either cable or Internet subscription services to get local digital TV stations. I ordered this on the hope that I could still get local “out of thin air”. When I first connected the antenna cable to the TV, I got nothing but snow. I was disappointed and ready to write a blistering review. But reading the antenna setup guide (what? Read the instructions?), I saw the instruction “set the TV tuner mode to Antenna”. When I referred to my TV Operating Instructions (you know, the thing we always keep “in case we need it”), I saw there was such a setting, and when I did a scan of channels, there were 15 digital channels!! The local channels are crystal clear without the in-line amplifier even with the antenna in a basement well window. So, I correct my first impressions and say that this really does work. FYI my local transmitters are approximately 12 miles distant. Very pleased.

So I about 54 miles from the nearest TV transmitter. Thought this would end up being just some more junk, but was I wrong! This antenna is mounted in my window and I'm receiving 5 broadcast stations with 17 channels. I am about as rural as you can get. I now have a tv in my shop where I spend most of my time!

Didn't work. Picked up fewer channels than the outside antenna I have hooked up. I checked and there are several towers within the 50 mile range that were not picked up with this. Not as advertised.

Had planned on attaching a better cable to the antenna, but the cable is attached to the antenna permanently. Reception was poor. Donated antenna to charity.

Works fine.. I put it above my TV. & it does what it is supposed to do . But I didn’t use the booster that came with it cause it didn’t pick up half of the channels/used the antenna without it & picked up about 12 stations..

I ended up getting 54 channels which was GREAT the only thing was the channel I really wanted did not get a signal but over all this is a good product and I'm planning on buying one more for my living room.

Not impressed at all. I actually get less channels with this than I did with my old rabbit ears. Bought from amazon warehouse and the item was most definitely used- had someone else’s hair stuck to the used sticky for mounting to the window.
