I bought this for my father's funeral. The plastic box from the mortuary fit perfectly inside. I didn't have to deal with transferring his ashes. My father is a Veteran and is being interned at a Veterans Cemetery. This box fits easily in the niche described by the Veterans Cemetery. My mom will be interned with him when she passes and there is more than enough room for a similar sized box for her. I couldn't be happier with the quality of the box and it is also very beautiful. The price was much lower than other boxes that I looked at. I wish I could have had his information engraved into the box. But I just bought a plaque to go on it. I also bough a tile with one of his favorite characters from Ancient Indian mythology that I will be affixing to the front with the plaque. I think he will appreciate this send off.

I was so pleasantly surprised by this solid walnut urn. My grandfather was a wonderful man. A cowboy type, who loved natural woods, made in the USA and all things simple. We added a inscribed plaque to the top which finished it off just perfect. The crematory put the ashes in the urn for us, so I can't comment on the ease of that process. I just know you will not be sorry if your order this urn. It is the perfect piece to send off our grandfather to his final resting place. The price was more than fair for such a beautiful piece.

I am more than pleased. I would give you 10 stars if I could. I ordered this for my elderly father on Thursday evening then he passed on Friday morning. It came on Monday before expected. I chose this urn because it was made in the USA and was available in walnut. The pictures do not do it justice. The quality and workmanship are apparent even in the care used in packing the urn for shipment. If all companies had such pride in their work and produced such outstanding products we could put China out of business. Thank you from my whole family!

I first looked at the $250 urns from the funeral home. I checked Amazon (felt really odd) then bought this. It is beautiful. I have worked with Walnut for years and wish I had time to build my own, but this was perfect. It is a beautiful piece of wood and perfect workmanship. My mother and I were very pleased. Just right. Just got it so we don't know how it will age. But, very well finished/crafted. Delivered in a timely manner, in perfect condition and sooner than communicated at time of purchase. Thank you.

I purchased a $50 wooden urn and it smelled so bad I had to leave it outside in the garage I have no idea what was made out of, for a decorative box to hold ashes that are already in a container shouldn't be that complicated this one was actually solid mahogany it was exactly what I was looking for spend the extra $50 you won't be disappointed

This solid walnut Urn has simple lines and yet stunning. I had it laser engraved and even the engraving shop found it to be of high quality and well made. I was very pleased with the packaging. It was secure and the shipping was very quick.

Purchased for my Mom. Beautiful and well crafted. Somehow it did, though, arrive with a small dent even though it was well packaged. I contacted the seller and they were very helpful in assuaging my concerns and I chose to keep the item. I would recommend them any time.
