Intel X58 motherboard ATX LGA 1366 DDR3

Motherboard arrived on time but was obviously used. There was no box and no manual. This is all fine; however, the motherboard went out after approximately 4 months of use. The power switch plug is not functional after doing extensive troubleshooting on the device, including replacing the power supply and replacing the case. I would expect this to happen after several years of use, perhaps the motherboard I got was used for several years already. Bottom line I thought I was buying a new product that would function for at least an appropriate period of time and it did not. I am VERY unhappy with the product. I would stay away from this item.

I had an ASUS motherboard that quit working right. So, I got what I could as the I7 960 is still very much a powerhouse processor.I was concerned that this board was for 2 channel memory while the 1366 processors main strength is for triple channel memory. However, it seems to not have made a difference in processing power for the apps that I use it for. Overall, I am very happy with this boards' performance. I would recommend it.

Same as last review on March 22nd mine didn't die yet. You think your buying something new. You think your getting a real manual but you get 3 printed pages that serves no purpose. One of the reasons I bought this board was for the pciex16 slot, but when I opened it up there is no pciex16 slot for expansion, there is a pciex1 slot in its place. Now I have a Sound Blaster card that will not fit. I would pass on this board.
