Standalone? You’ll have to buy the adapter.
First off, if you plan on using this without one of the standalone DC power bricks, you’ll need to get an adapter, and you can get one from Chicago Music Store online. That’s what I did, and this thing rules. It powers a few different bass pedals for me, and my HX Stomp from one, single plug. Buy once, cry once, well worth the money.

The Best
Cioks = Best pedal power supplies on planet Earth. Worth the price of admission. Fits clean under the smallest of boards. Just works.

More power!
I was running a lot of pedals on my DC7 so several power outputs had extensions to run multiple pedals. I ran into an issue with noise from multiple pedals being on the same line. So, I got the 8 extension and now I have every pedal on its own isolated output. No more noise issues.Love the CIOKS power supplies and accessories.

Works great as a standalone power supply.
I bought the Cioks 8 used through Amazon, it came i really good condition and with all the accesories.Works great as a standalone power supply, the unit uses a 6.5*4.3mm plug. So I bought a 24V 4A 120W Power Supply, that came with a 5.5*2.1mm plug. I took the power Cioks cable cut it in half and soldered to the 24v power supply. It works.Yes you can use it as a standalone power supply.

Doesn't come with a power brick so buy one before purchasing this
This is a fantastic product, but I probably should've researched a little further. I did also buy a 4 year Protection plan, and once I opened the manual, I read that the product comes with a 5 year warranty, so I hope this review helps someone out there realize that the Protection plan could probably be skipped (4 years if you pay $39.00) (5 years manufacturer warranty).
