This is an amazing product and it has definitely helped my older dog. My elderly dog was exhibiting signs of fatigue and excessive panting with not a lot of exertion. Because she is older and has hip problems, it is hard to get her in a car - she can't hop up into my small car - so getting her to a vet is almost out of the question and I don't know any vets who make house calls.I saw this product when doing an Amazon search and thought it would be worth trying to see if it would help my dog. I have been giving my dog the recommended dosage (s he weighs around 80 pounds) for the past several months and this product has truly made a big difference in my dog's physical well being.She has more energy and her huffing and puffing with exertion is practically non-existent. She is now able to go up and down the stairs with little or no effort and if there is a rabbit or squirrel in the yard when I let her out to do his doggie business, she runs across the yard trying to catch the little animals.Thankfully, they are much faster at escaping than she is at getting to them. My dog is now on her fourth bottle of the cardio support. I will continue to buy this product and to give the tablets to her daily, as it has made a big difference and a great improvement in her quality of life. The product is definitely worth the price I pay for it. Highly recommended.

Having used Nutrition Strength products for my dog before, and been very happy with the results, I thought this cardio support for dogs product might be what my 11-year-old dog needed after she was diagnosed with congestive heart failure. And so far all the signs have been positive: from the first day I started giving her these tablets, she seems to have become more energetic. The tablets may not be tasty to any dog, and if that happens to be your pup I recommend that you crush them on some moist food. And make sure that you always tightly close the lid on the bottle to keep the tablets dry.Our vet was pleasantly surprised that our dog's heart condition has remained stable since she has been on this supplement (along with the medication she had prescribed). Now, I honestly can't say how much of the credit should be given to Nutrition Strength's tablets, but she's certainly been doing much better since she started taking them and I will not stop giving them.

This is an updated review. I tried the Thorne Product, after my dog had stabilized on This product. So Much depends on Why you are giving your dog Cardio supplements! My dog still doesn't like the taste of these chewables, so I have to encase the tabs in shredded cheddar. That said, my dog has a serious arrhythmmia problem. The cost of a pacemaker makes that impossible for me. This product contains an herb that is a nutural cardic rhythm regulator. The Thorne product Does Not! I needed a product for her that helped strengthen her heart muscles, as well as helped normalise her heart rhythm. This Does that! It has given me my dog back! I'm So grateful! I believe the Thorne supplement to be excellent for Congestive Heart failure ... far too many peoplehave praised it for That! But, when I give Thisbone to my dog, evety 12 hrs, she's stopped have Syncope episodes completely! I hadn't expected it to work so quickly! I study herbs, and this one contains the best ones for my dog's situation. She's regained her appetite, and has also regained some needed weight. If you are looking for a product because your dog has a heart condition, I suggest you look up each component contained as an ingredient. That will best help you decide what your dog most needs. If you are just giving a supplement to Keep your dog's heart healthy, this might not be the one for your dog. Of course, All such products Must Say that thesehave Not Been Evaluated bt the FDA. That's the law! But, there are studies, and books on herbs, as well as studies, outside the US, that one can find, in order to become more informed on what might help your dog. With the use of this vitamin. I was able to reduce my old dog heart meds a little. She seems a lot better! The meds made her act spacey and not munch energy. The supplementation help!

poor tasting. Hard to trick my dog into taking. Very disappointed.

I originally bought this for my 12 year old Petey who was already nearing the end stage of his congestive heart failure. He has gone over the rainbow bridge. I should have started the supplement sooner. If fate was not cruel enough....I took my 10 year old Pebbles to the Vet for a check up and find out she has between a 2/3 stage heart murmur!! I immediately started her on this supplement. I am hoping that because I started her earlier than my other dog she will have better results. At the present time she is doing very well and seems to have alot of energy. I will update on our next vet checkup.UPDATE! Just had my little Pebbles for her checkup! She is now 11 years old. Her heart murmur was downgraded to a 1!!!! The Vet said he almost didn't detect it! Nutrition Strength Cardio works!!! I have done nothing else different. She is fed a high quality dry dog food for senior dogs and Health Bars as a treat and the Nutrition Strength Cardio! THANK YOU to the makers of this product!!!
