Really helps with minimizing box stuffing
This inline splicer eliminates the bulk of wire nuts in the box. It would've been helpful if there was a strip guide on the device.

Not Perfect - But Close
The search continues for the Holy Grail of wire nuts. The endless supply of new wire connectors, that one day, some guy from Nowhere,USA, back in his shed, will invent the perfect replacement for the standard orange/yellow/blue/red wire nuts we've been using for decades, and now telling us maybe they don't work so good. They always seem to work good enough for me. Tighten up wires with a nut, wrap some electrical tape around it to hold, good for 100 years. I like these type of connectors. They are easier to use then a wire nut and tape. It removes the tape from the process. The little arms that flip up to open up the space for a wire to be inserted, they are not gonna just pop up one day on their own. Unlike a wire nut that can loosen over time (i can't tell you how this happens, just seen it with my own two eyeballs), these should not have that problem. The one thing I don't like is they are not designed for inserting more then one wire into each port. This is not convenient at times, and buying connectors like these with 4, 5 or more ports can get expensive. These sell for $13.99 (as of this review) for a pack of 24 pieces. The one issue for these is not the product itself, they work nicely, its the fact i can order a bag of 500 P3 Orange wire nuts good for multiple gauge wire and have a 600V max rating for like $10 bucks. That's 500 connections vs 24, for less money. I like the new vs the old, but how do they justify the cost. A lot of buyers of this type of product are going to look at nothing more then the price tag, no matter what you tell them about safety features. They just gonna look at that 30 gallon trash bag full of wire nuts for $10 bucks, and think no further then that. I wanna meet the guy that solves this problem, he can help me sell bridges.

Toss your wire nuts.
Only way to go. Wire nuts will soon be a thing of the past.

not worse a penny
Do not hold a wire at all. Not recommended and waste of money.
