Avalon Organics Therapy Damage Control Conditioner, Argan Oil, 14 Oz

One star for being an EWG Verified product. Another star for the pleasant scent. Another star in that my hair felt great once it dried, probably from the argan oil. One star off for the fact that I have to use so much product to feel its effects. Another star off for not being so detangling right away or not enough slip while applying. One more star off for the size of bottle and the price plus I have to use so much product on my long, thick, slightly wavy hair that if I traveled by air, it would be a challenge to make sure I had enough product to sustain me in a 3 oz bottle. It's a love hate relationship with this conditioner. I don't use it with the matching shampoo (I use Everyone 3-in-1 Soap in Lemon Coconut). I started to use a different conditioner I've used before but didn't like how that made my hair feel when dried (thicker and wavier) so here I am, back to this one only because I can't seem to find something better without wasting more $ and because I still have a bottle left that I couldn't return. Reminder that this is not returnable but it's worth trying once to see how it works for your hair.Also as of Oct 2020 I have to add that this line has been discontinued by the company and I have to wonder why. I just confirmed with them. The search for nontoxic continues...

I am dealing with frizz during all this rain and probably age. This product has no uglies in the ingredients ( EWG.ORG) and so far, my hair seems happy. It doesn't lather like others, but ot some of us, that is a good thing. It does a good job

The thickness of this conditioner is perfect and washes out without leaving any residue. The smell is fresh, which I also like, and, most importantly, it doesn't irritate my scalp at all. It's the first product that hasn't. I'm constantly having to switch products due to irritation and severe itching, so we'll see how long I can actually use it.

Great healthy ingredients, but seems to dry my hair out.

I have been coloring my hair for almost three years now and my hair has become a lot more dry. I need a moisturizing shampoo and conditioner and this product is not it! I couldn’t even get a comb through my hair without applying another product to it first. I would not buy again or recommend this product.

The product is EWG Certified which was a factor towards purchase. The product is not very heavy upon application but is effective as a conditioner.

Bought it since aloe Vera is the main ingredient listed, but my hair doesn’t feel any softer or any different with or without using it.

This conditioner is the only one I've found that keeps my hair from frizzing, even in Midwest humidity. I just leave it in and it's great. I really appreciate the quick shipping too!

Siento que no desenreda tan bien, me cuesta trabajo hacer que penetre en el cabello, pero supongo que al ser libre de siliconas, no se siente igual. Huele bien.

Huele a plastilina y no desenreda para nada.... para salir del paso vale pero no creo que hidrate de verdad el pelo....
